The most disorganised, inefficient and slow service I've ever encountered. We ordered online at 7.10pm and clicked on the pick up option straight away because we live 5 mins down the road. We did not leave the store until 7.40pm. The counter area was packed with waiting delivery drivers who just kept streaming in and asking where their orders were. Our order sat up on the screen as ready to collect for about 10 mins but when we asked for it, it wasn't actually ready. Whoever manages this store should be better trained as should the staff. While we waited the half hour for our order, we watched one staff member literally take 5 long, slow minutes to put the stickers on the tops of the delivery bags and push them down. We ordered $60 of food which was cold and we didn't get some of it but there was no way we were going back in there. Hungry Jacks need to reorganise. The fast food dynamic has changed. The stores are now often full of delivery drivers who clog up the counter. Create another space for those types of orders .. maybe a pick up window where they aren't jumping in front of people and trying to push in to try and get a good review. The Hungry Jacks app has a little message that shows up telling me I jumped the queue by ordering online which is absolutely laughable and complete BS. If a 30 minute wait for an online order is jumping the queue, I hate to think how long the wait is if you turn up in the store. The service is deplorable. EDIT: The manager of the Ellenbrook store contacted me directly and apologised for the inconvenience caused. It was very refreshing to see as this type of thing doesn't seem to happen...
Read moreOrdered 2x kids nuggets & chips box, 1 box had cold nuggets. My partner got whopper meal deal & whopper was cold & fries missing. I ordered bacon deluxe value meal & no fries. Ordered 2 x ice sundaes only got one. I could not believe how many things were missed. Also the place doesn't look like it's been cleaned for awhile as all the glass was filthy you would expect hygiene to be important where food is consumed. There was a bench seat available, as most seats were taken & we wanted to use it due to my grandchildren been on the small side & it was dirty when I asked a staff member if some one could please clean the seats & table as they were dirty I got a look from the staff member that she wasn't too happy I had mentioned it, like it was all too hard. When a staff member did come to clean it we didn't use the bench seat as she had no cleaning product with her just a wet cloth & cleaned the seat & table down with the same cloth so that put us off using it. I don't like complaining but the place was pretty dirty & there should be someone to clean up after diners & especially with the threat of covid at anytime. At no time was an apology offered for the missing food items or the state of the table & bench seat or a thank you for letting us know. Not a great place to dine & I realise it was busy but someone should've been wiping tables. Some staff need to learn better...
Read moreVenturing into Hungry Jack's in Aveley was a gamble, one driven by a ravenous hunger that made the thought of enduring the drive back to Secret Harbour unbearable. I placed my bet on the Cowboy Angus, a burger that, by reputation, requires the patience of a saint due to its custom-made promise. But lo and behold, today's service was disconcertingly swift, shattering my belief in the sacred "made to order" mantra. The burger was ushered into my hands with a speed that would make fast food look slow, and scepticism took the driver's seat.
Upon unwrapping my speedy feast in a neighbouring parking spot, the burger that lay before me bore the telltale signs of a journey far more arduous than from grill to tray. The cheese had the consistency of a yoga mat, and the bun looked as if it had been the underdog in a scuffle with a panini press. A side-by-side comparison with its glorified online glamour shot would have been comedic if it weren't so tragic. Handing over approximately $13 for this experience felt like a daylight robbery. One can't help but muse that even at half the price, the quality—or lack thereof—would still sting. Quite frankly, this burger could turn a meat...
