About one year ago I was approached by Fleur and Brad to use their Karvan Coffee. I was reluctant about changing as I thought my customers were used to what I had and with a two year old business I was nervous. A few months passed and I decided to introduce Blend #4 and a single origin to Kerry St Pear Tree. I have not looked back - it is the best decision I have made. Changing to Karvan was such a smooth process, it even included Summah re training and upskilling all my current and new staff. Having a great machine and great coffee is all when and good, but having the on going support to get the best out of the beans-machine and my staff is golden. The customer service is like no other! My customers love the new consistent coffee and enjoy having a continuous rotating single origin.

I know it's convenient to jump on your phone, research coffee gear, buy online, and not have to leave your chair. I do it too.

But damn - the coffee these guys help me create smashes all my obsessive research, forum reading, online buying, app following and 'tube watching to pieces. NOTHING beats the personalised guidance you get from going to a lovely store, and having people that really know their coffee help you get skilled up - particularly for new-to-you brewing methods. I started at flat whites and have now journeyed through espresso, long black, aeropress, and pour over. If I just simply do what LBM suggest, I always get better tasting coffee than whatever I was playing around with before.

And their beans are awesome. I've tried at least 20 other roasters in Perth....
