Miss Maud Whitford City — Restaurant in Western Australia

We have dined here quite a few times in the past month and must say how pleasant "all" the staff are. They are all unusually friendly and welcoming, and it's such a nice feeling to be valued. The brunch food we have enjoyed has been excellent, and the table arrangement isn't confining like many other nearby cafes. There is a sign at the entrance stating that supermarket trolleys are not permitted inside, and so there are extra tables adjacent for those that have them. That makes for such pleasant atmosphere inside without being surrounded by these big trolleys (that are in most instances empty, or contain one small handbag) such as in a nearby cafe where these trolleys are permitted and take up so much room and hassle many diners. I wasn't going to leave a review, but after having to move quickly to a bathroom to deal with some unusual bowel movements, I felt obligated to leave a review.

I should have trusted my gut when I felt that something was off with the hash browns I was served with my breakfast this morning. I ate them anyway thinking it was in my head. I'm now sitting on that mistake.

I knew that when the food came out sooner than anticipated, it was too good to be true. Something was off, and I should have listened to my gut... well, I'm listening to my gut now, and it ain't happy with my choices.

Bad quality of food, and I feel that the food preparation leaves much to be desired.

Service is always nice but the cooking & food assembly quality was sub-standard on 13/4 at 10:43. The young man in the kitchen was clearly disengaged & poorly trained. One of the poached eggs was totally disintegrated. The first Ham & Salad sandwich had stale bread, the replacement was just as bad; big clumps of ham, minute amounts of salad & dry bread, resulting in a partner walk out (partner regularly visits other Miss Mauds who make the sandwich well).

We won’t be going again until you can retrain your cook to NOT think he can get away with this sort of poor food preparation!
