Mount Lawley Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Western Australia

Very sad storie somehow I always find myself around north Perth for take out as I live in midland and I love good food yesterday after not being able to decide what me and my partner wanted we said stuff it fish n chips and happily walked inside I thought I would lash out and order a feast 2 fish n chips 2 dim sims 2 pineapple fritters and a spring roll and instead of hake? I chose the much more expencive and usually real tasty option of Spanish mackerel soon enough food was ready sat in the car park as the shop was closing and started to eat I took one bite of my fish to be almost sick to my stomach with the slimy disgusting taste of old hard fish steak not wanting to disappoint my partner I didn't mention how bad it was but unfortuenty her piece was also old and disgusting hating myself for blowing $37 I thought I would write this review so I could maybe get reimbursed somehow as I had to go down the road and buy a lovely Nepalese feed after eating a few chips and dim sim wich were super tasty In the end it didn't completely go to waste as my dog diesel seemed to enjoy the fish but laid down on the 20 minute drive hope I hope to hear back from you guys at my Lawley...

Lived in area for approx 18 years. Have fish and chips about once a year. This place has good fish and chips. However, last year when I visited the store, I was told.. "you have too much chicken salt, you shouldn't have that much its bad for you" Humm... was annoyed that i was being told that what I was eating was bad, but hay.. whatever.. attended the store again (about 1 year later), and pretty much was told that the min purchase of $10 (Eftpos) would be too much for me? What the? Now im being told that I may order too much? Where dose this place get off. Anyway walked out as he is not having my $$. Food is good (actually best in the area), just the service is poor. Why would you tell customers too much salt, you will order too much.. PS:It was said in a judging tone and facial expression... Time to find a new annual fish and chip shop. Popped up the road to Swish and Chips, amd spent $15...

Great chips at unbeatable price. Last time i came here I got grey, rotten-smelling cobbler that made me feel off, and the time before I got a dried-out fillet which looked like it had been sitting around after cooking for atleast a few hours which also made me feel off. Do not buy the fish at this place.

I have eaten cobbler many times before and I love it, the only reason why I was so disappointed with the fish is because the first time I came here I got some of the most delicious, fresh cobbler I've ever had from a fish and chips place which is why i gave the fish here a second chance after getting odd,...
