Redcliffe Tavern — Restaurant in Western Australia

My husband took me there for a cold beer and a perve lol..not many people on the sat arvo session, but the lovely ladies behind the bar who had the best little outfits and attitudes held our attention. So great conversations were had, nice cold beers, good feed, random looks from the small gathering of young fellas desperate for action. Although a quieter evening then expected, sometimes its the simple things that are often the best. This pub is no fancy metropolitan hotel with boutique furnishings let alone garnishing on their meals. Its that perfect down to earth rough diamond that has a little bit of everything and reminded me of my younger years at a pub called the Rising Sun on a Friday night. Go girls, see you soon for a nice cold schooner...this place is ypur original local for blokes if all ages and maybe the odd girlfriend or wife but hold onto them lads as the blokes definately outweigh the females and just want to say..after we left we went straight to the Adult Shop and I bought a pink outfit one of the ladies was wearing ..next time we are going on a Friday and its my husbands turn to see me on...

Disappointing Chicken Parmigiana

I've heard tales of this magical place, and it lived up to my expectations.

Bar: service is friendly enough.

Food: disappointing Chicken Parmigiana, crumbing was burnt around the edges with the only redeeming factor the generous lathering of cheese and sauce.

Decor: is tired but given this tavern caters for FIFO and blue collar workers, that can be rougher around the edges, it's understandable. The suspicious looking bullet hole in the rear window adds to the charm of the place.

Atmosphere: as stated this is a FIFO and blue collar tavern, most of which have suffered some form of industrial hearing loss. Add a few beers into the mix and everyone is raising their voice speaking with a person 2 feet away. I visited Tuesday lunch, not peak hour, maybe 50 people in the place with low music playing and the volume of these patrons was assaulting. I feel sorry for the staff.

TLDR; nice bar staff, average parmi, loud and rough....

If you like country pub feeling this is the place to be. You can have juicy burgers 🍔,steak 🥪 simple pub food and skimpies on different days. It will give you very macho man ♂️ feeling on your back home. Simple nice cold 🍻 on tap on style down to earth place with juke box . You can choose your own music 😉 and chat to some one from different part of life. After all everyone comes to pub for take to steam out of the Thomas engine🚂 😃 Good country feeling pub on your way back home 32 teeth out 😁...
