Used to absolutely love it here! Was my favourite place to eat and get take away from. After several spaced out bad experiences (food quality has become disgusting) we will not return.
Edited #2 to the owner who deleted their original reply and has now replied to me again well over a year later.. You want me to provide photo evidence NOW from 1 & 2 years ago? Get a grip! You are saying provide photo evidence otherwise it's a fake review? I've provided you with a date of my emailed receipt, the items I've ordered and what the issue(s) were as you previously requested from me. You talk about being an embarrassment to the Italian community and Western civilisation?? I DID NOT say that.. Is that your current concern? If so, I'm not the only one who has written a similar review. Maybe you need to review how you used to do things now vs at the beginning. In the beginning, Customer Service was amazing the food was exceptional.. and certainly did have that beautiful, authentic, Italian style. That is why I was loyal customer and loved that you WERE a part of our community. I took friends and family here and would rave to my friends/colleagues etc who do not live in the area to come and try it. So you wanna know what is embarrassing?? Sending them here for this!!! Stop & think about how you speak to your once loyal customers and fix the issue. Bring it back how it used to be and you would only be getting 5 star review (like mine once was before having so many bad experiences).
To Rosso's reply.. I can't respond to you without editing my review. I'm unsure of all the dates exactly but there have been 2 this year. I have been able to locate a receipt in my email from last year (28/12/23). It was for a Lasagna (main), Gnocci Pommodore & garlic bread. It was the second occasion (at that point) that the lasagna was burnt and flavourless. Honestly tasted like a something from a can. As with the pommodore in terms of flavour. In prior years I left you amazing reviews for service and food. The taste of your food was exceptional as was the quality but now it is terrible. I kept holding out hope it would improve like it once was but no such luck! I also ordered in last year for my Coeliac friend and I. I ordered gluten free but was told the pasta was going to be contaminated with the other gluten containing pastas!! Extremely shocking when this is a food allergy so she didn't end up eating anything. Really is a shame as when you first opened, I really thought you had such an amazing business. The worst dining in experience of my life, we enter for dinner as a walk-in for my girlfriends birthday, we are left standing there for 5 minutes before being asked if we have a booking, then when we say we don't we are given a dirty look and the elderly waiter (who may be the owner ) says " wow, no booking" and then acts like he was joking when he obviously wasn't, he sits us and then wait 20 minutes, after waiting for so long I ended up getting up to see if I could go order at the counter, as I go to stand up the waiter see's me and says " just wait! I'm coming I can't do everything at once!", leaving me totally embarrassed infront of everyone. I take my seat and then wait another 10 minutes for him to come back over, he asks what we want and when I ask for the surf and turf, he corrects me and gives me the italian name, which I mistake for him mishearing me so I say " Oh sorry just the surf please" and he corrects me again in a very condescending way. I'm now wanting to just leave honestly, If this wasn't all bad enough, the food comes after 35 minutes and the STEAK IS RAW, cold, raw, blue, it was still mooing! it was completely inedible, we paid $45 each and got 2 and we ended up eating some fries and 3 prawns, I addressed this at the counter and it was confirmed it was indeed raw, I was then offered a meesly 20% discount and a tiramisu worth $7, ended up paying $65 for basically nothing, ontop of this I went home feeling really sick and spent the next 7 hours fighting off nausea and am still waiting to see if food poisoning is going to creep up on me, completely ruined my girlfriends birthday, PLEASE AVOID THIS RESTURANT, THEY WILL RUIN your night, your week and probably your...

As my Mother-in-Law uses a wheelchair we were not pleased to find the owner/manager had parked his late model Mercedes in the ACROD parking bay without a permit displayed. We parked in another bay further away. He saw me check his vehicle for a permit and came to tell me he was reserving the bay for someone coming in a van in the next 30 minutes or so. After about 40 minutes and having not seen anyone needing disabled parking enter the restaurant, I went to check the bay to find no vehicle there but a pair of stacked milk crates located in but near the edge of the bay as if to deter anyone entering. A van (looking as though used by the restaurant) was parked in front of the bay, just outside the rear door of the restaurant. It would have been blocked from exit if another vehicle was in the ACROD bay. I moved the milk crates away from the bay and returned to my group in the restaurant.
When we went to leave, the owner/manager came and quietly pointed out a very large man nearby and told me this was the person for whom he had reserved the ACROD bay. Not likely, as I had seen this man and his family walk in from some distance and from the opposite direction to where the bay is located. On leaving toward my car we passed the bay. I noted another milk crate placed in the bay. Perhaps the bay is also being used as a quick stop location for UBER (or equivalent) meal...
