Round the Corner Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Western Australia

My partner and I came here on the 6/3/24. I had called earlier on and was able to reserve a booth table for us. We arrived and was immediately greeted by a wonderful lady. She was friendly, bubbly, energetic and even went out of her way to get us some bottle caps (we told her my partner collects them from around the world and wanted to see if they had any he didn't own yet). She ran off and came back with a little tub full of them. She was such a lovely lady, I hope the manager sees my review and gives her a raise or something as she definitely deserves it. It was a Thursday night so they had a steak special on. We ordered 2 steak dinners with chips, salad and mushroom gravy. We also added on 1 serve of onion rings and 1 serve of the garlic prawns to share with each other. While we waited for our food, we each had a glass of lemon, lime and bitters - made perfectly! Our food arrived and it was amazing! I love the dressing they used for the salad and the chips and onion rings were perfect! The steak was tender. The prawns and the garlic sauce were sooo good. I'd definitely buy those again. They also had a gentleman playing live music that evening. He was really talented! I enjoyed listening to him. I am hard of hearing though, so I'm glad we booked booth seating so my partner could sit next to me so that I could easily hear him over the music. It was such an enjoyable experience for us. We would have loved to stay longer but we had to be up at 3am to go to the airport so we left early. I highly recommend going to this place. Friendly staff, great prices and highly quality food and drink. All up we only paid $75 for everything we ordered so it's a lot more affordable than a lot of other places nearby. Was ejected physically by manager owner and head barmaid last night for dancing and singing along with great Blues guitarist singer.. .Was sober no drugs or medication... He the Golden Geko asked me to leave as I was so called interrupting the performance. He was present when I asked the Bottle shop manager Trevor if I could dance. .He said yes.. There was a drunk old guy staggering around.. Who I successfully daunted with my dancing talent.. I even got encouraged by the musician to get people dancing. This was interrupted by an angry barmaid who asked me to take off my own cap that I gave the muso... Then an unknown person confronted me asked me to leave... I asked to go to the toilet and he and the barmaid refused and manhandled me out of the entrance.. .He then started to push and shove me and speak into my face... The bar girl was asking him to stop but he continued his taunting and looked like he wanted to hit me. . I left and tried to see Trevor in the bottle shop.. .Instead the manager/owner appeared and threatened me again... So I left and phoned the police. ..The manager approached me laughing saying that he was leaving... I said stay do a police report but he just ignored that and I thought yep he has deleted the CCTV camera footage that's why he didn't have to be there for the police.. .thanks BelvidereS Bar and Bistro for a wonderful night.. .Thanks Mr Golden Geko for your hospitality to a 70yr old Zen Buddhist .. Omg decided we should try the bistro and I've had one of the best meals I've ever had.!!! I searched the world over for the best chicken parmigiana and I can confidently say what I had was the best I've ever had. I travelled through Europe and all over Australia trying parmi anywhere it serves it. What was good about it - quality piece of chicken cooked to perfection, perfect ratio of sauce and cheese delicately exposing the ends of the chicken to retain its crispness, lightly toasted cheese on the edges. Chips were great perfect proportion of salad even with capsicum, cucumber and the right amount of dressing. Missus had the salmon which was also flawless. Pretty awesome considering missus is pregnant so we just celebrated with the perfect meal.
