Very very disappointed! Ordered karaage chicken & teriyaki chicken with rice and literally got that. Saw that the menu had vegetables & soup with the meal but wasn't given. When I called and enquired was told that I had to inform them that I wanted the vegetables and soup when ordering. I wasn't asked if I required that.Nothing stated on their menu on the internet. How do I eat this way?? Not even teriyaki sauce or mayo. This is the first time ordering from a Japanese food joint that gives such an incomplete meal. Moreover I paid the same price as the ones that comes as a meal. I usually go to Sushi Don at Morley and Blue Jasmine at Maylands. Their food is comparable, very tasty, comes with all the trimmings with generous portions to boot. And...

Although the set up of this place looks pretty basic don't be fooled the food is amazing!! We have been getting take away here for several years and yet to have a bad meal.

The first time I visited I was about 20 weeks pregnant with my first baby and the owner very politely asked me if I was expecting when I said yes he said he would check how recently the salad (served with the meals) was made. You have to pay for cutlery! Purchased my meal at 6:30pm and was not able to eat it till 8pm. We were advised after making our payment that we weren't allowed to eat on the premises because they had a big order. That was all the explanation we got before we were showed out. When asked for cutlery the man at the counter said forks were 50c each. What take away restaurant charges for cutlery! So we had no choice but to drive to our next appointment with our noodles and katsu don in tow. Got home at 8pm absolutely famished... and what do I find in my noodles...crumpled up plastic wrapping...which came free...
