THE WORST - bad service and food. Sushi was too cold and dry, Ramen was too soft. We arrived 20 before they close, they try to push us to take away (we didn't know they close at 8pm because close time is 9pm in Google). We preferred dine in because of eating ramen. We just wanted to have a quick dinner, so 20 mins will be enough. When we were eating, the family was looking at us. (it feels like we need to go very soon) One of the staff pushed a supermarket trolly with rubbish next to us when we were eating. We felt disappointed and tried to finish our dinner. they brought ramen for us at 7:52pm and the time we walked out of the shop was 8:01pm. The first sentence we heard was not "Thank you or See you", it was "ok, Let's go" (exhausted voice that the girl talked with others staff). We came to have meal and paid, not free.. what we should have received was polite and...

Worse ever for me too. Ordered a bendon and a Raman also a plate of sushi. the noddle was too soft soup was salty too. Wait for really really long time like I ordered something extremely hard to make. So one of the friendly staff serve us some sort of sweet drink which taste wired....Ok than, the two pieces of sushi became with bendon....I can taste the fridge, the fry chicken was super salty and absolutely dry .... rice was obviously way over cooked. You can’t run a sushi shop without a good rice cooking skills....I’m sorry but I only do google review either foods are extremely good or opposite! Cheap but won’t come back again. Rather pay more to get...

Ordered vege tempura donburi. All I can say is after the first bite, I wanted it to be the last. But no choice, I paid for it so had to force my way thru it. Tempura batter was hard and stuck to vegies, seemed like a real lack of effort on the chef's part in cooking this up, as if he/she didn't really care. Brocolli tempura had burnt bits. Salad dressing overly sweet and salty. Tempura sauce tasted like sugared soy sauce diluted with water. What can I say, so disappointed I decided to post my first ever review on anything online. Would do better to improve to match up to the nice interior design, which can only do so much to hold back...

The food that was there is tasty, but not much was there for a bento box. It was very disappointing actually. The fish is very thin, approx 1cm or less. I wouldn't say it's good value. Maybe it is a good choice if you're grabbing a quick bite on the go. Also not impressed with the use of only toxic plastic takeaway containers even when eating in. Not ideal when placing hot soup straight into plastic. The whole container was softened. Would not return nor recommend. The only redeeming quality is the friendliness of the cashier lady.

Cheap eats - the cafe looks great, the atmosphere is typical of a mum & dad cafe, not a lot of spare room, noisy, busy, all of which is great and added a bit of Japanese feel. The only let down was the food which was very ordinary, home cooking style. This cafe is at the end of my street and we were determined to visit as many places open and close quite fast in that area. Not sure how long this one will last, I think it will be mainly for the local quick eats market.

This was the Sakaba at Belmont Forum. I was a big fan. Good honest Japanese food at unbelievable prices. Don't expect the quality of expensive restaurants but this place definitely punches above its weight even c ompared to places that are charging 50% more. Just have to come try it and you'll understand what I'm talking about. This must be the most affordable place for a full sized hot meal in all of Perth. Same for the sushi rolls.
