Shibuku Japanese Palmyra — Restaurant in Western Australia

The food is tasty, no doubt. But some other factors could have been better. The serving size is not very generous. Some other Japanese restaurants give a lot more for the same price. Location, decoration, cleanliness nothing is too great. The parts of kitchen which are visible looked a bit filthy. Sometimesa bad odor comes from somewhere, source unknown. It takes really long for them to serve food during pick hour. They serve very small amount of condiment like ginger/ Wasabi. They will charge more and serve a little amount if you ask for some extra. I usually really like Shibuku. But today they totally stuffed up our order. When I called back they said if I drove back there they could give me the rest of meal at my expense. I don’t think so. On top of that the Karaage chicken was burnt, not over cooked but burnt. The sashimi is pathetic. The fish is ok but to serve it as a meal with no sides is cheap. Seems like decent quality food. I rate sushi places on 3 basics (according to my personal preferences, not any kind of gastronomic knowledge) 1 - raw salmon. If it's only smoked there's a problem. 2 - lots of fresh ginger , not just the tiny bits in a plastic packet. 3 - good wasabi, again, not in a packet.
