I would just like to say that we only have been coming from Rockingham to have your eggs Benedict well before the new owners have taken over. Today I was very disappointed with the presentation of the meal. Firstly I know everything cost more than it did years ago but cutting back on a product such as using smaller eggs. Secondly I spoke with the boss woman as my poached eggs looked like scrambled eggs and she apologised as she said she was stressed . They were understaffed and to let her worker who was the the preparation to go for a break I’m assuming at midday is not a good time. I'm surprised at the low ratings but I only have ate here once and the overall experience was fine. I asked for smashed avo with smoked salmon but there was no smoked salmon and I was offered chicken as I wanted a larger protein meal. TBH the food was great, I was hungry so maybe it tasted better but I was more than happy. To be fair the table service was flat, and I find it odd that staff don't use they please and thank you's whereas myself as the customer give copious amounts of gratitude. It should go both ways. Staff took 10 minutes to acknowledge me for an order, person taking the order did not smile, Ordered regular flat white and BLT on white toast, to eat in!!!!!! Most tables we dirty where last customers sat, dirty dishes etc. I had to ask to have table wiped down. Person who took my order brought coffee to me in a takeaway cup, when question why I gave takeaway container she just shrugged her shoulders. Food took a long time to come out……very disappointing, sandwich basically inedible due to greasy consistency, black charcoal substance throughout the sandwich, which means the grill isn’t cleaned in between each order.
