On 5th of February 2022, both of us (my sister and I) are supposed to have the sushi platter for lunch and dinner (as we have big event coming this afternoon). Halfway through the sushi for lunch, we saw one DEAD fly attached to the sushi, then we suspect it came from somewhere else, then we looked at the platter closely, there’s another DEAD fly on the platter. This is not the end of it! The epic is when we took it back straightaway, the waitress asked if we left it open?! We denied the BLAME straightaway! We open the platter at 12:48pm (we recorded the video and had instagram story posted) and had it for about 10 mins then we found those 2 flies (there maybe more in there, who knows? as it’s only halfway through) She went inside and consulted by someone, came out and said she will refund 1/2 of the $55 since we have eaten half of it! Hello?!?!?! Why do we need to accept the 1/2 refund? If we have eaten 1/4 of the them, then we get 1/4 of the refund?! How silly she is!!!! Then we demanded we need a full refund and we do not want them to remake the sushi! She knows she can’t argue anymore then she went to the corner and called to consult again. When she came back to the counter, she said to us, I won’t argue with you anymore, I will do full refund for you! See that attitude? The flies are disgusting but the staff’s attitude is more disgusting!!!! If it’s catering, people would have it opened only when is ready to eat! Who would leave it open? Not to mention it’s just both of us are eating the sushi.

Please note, she didn’t even say ‘Sorry’ at the end.

THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY! We have reported to the local council for food hygiene complaint.

P.S: Would they serve the other 1/2 on the platter to other...

It was my first time at silver sushi and I have eaten in many restaurants in Japan and Perth. I love Japanese food so much and I couldn't be bothered to see the reviews cause I thought it would be nice, but I was wrong. I booked a table earlier and I still have to wait 15 MINS! It is pointless to book because other people will be taking the seats. After I got my seat and received my food, THE SALMON ROE(EGGS) WAS STICKY AND SMELLY!!! I was really disappointed and confuse, salmon roe aren't suppose to be sticky and smelly which means it had gone bad.... I complain to the lady and she gave us an attitude saying 'I will check the chef' REPEATED 3x. She then said if you don't want the food then you could have not order it, of course I want the food because I love the salmon course. The lady was very defensive and rude. She then later came back with the food saying our customer never have complains, and there is me thinking... People just eat and go, and for myself I know my Japanese food in Perth and Japan very well, salmons roe aren't supposed to be like that, it also means it has gone rotten/not fresh. She also said that the restaurant HAS also ways THE FOOD LIKE THAT. WARNING: SERVICES HAVE ISSUES AND FOOD DEFINITELY NOT FRESH IT COULD MAKE YOU GO SICK I wouldn't want to visit that...

I came here for the first time in 2014. I was reluctant at first, wanting to eat somewhere else, but the moment I tried the beef udon, I was blown away. It was fantastic, and Silver Sushi's rendition of it quickly became my favourite dish. I would come here often with my family, enjoying every meal. Then, I stopped going after noticing a constant decline in food quality. Everything there turned mediocre to my palette.

I stop going for about a year, but decide to go back, for nolstgia enticed me. Excited to once again taste that delicious beef udon I ate for the first time many years ago, I scarfed down a bowl along with a mixed sashimi donburi, hoping it would taste somewhat like the one I had in Tokyo.

Instead, five minutes after eating it, I found myself with immediate diarrhea, and I struggled to walk down to the toilets, attempting not to spew out raw fish and noodles out of my front and rear end. The pain only healed after I finished my trip to the toilet.

Please do yourself a favour and try not to eat here, you risk getting sick like I did. I wished the Silver Sushi of old would return, but now I really do not care for it, at all. Don't come here, I think you won't want a similar experience to...
