The Willetton Butcher — Local services in Willetton

I have been going to this place for over a year and have run out of patience to give them any more chances. To begin with, one, they don’t follow instructions on how you tell them to cut meat. Always make a fuss about it and even then mess up the cuts. Two, meat is not upto cleanliness standards. Lamb prices (multiple) had hair on the meat, chunks of hair. Someone can surely do a quality check before putting it up in the show case. I have never had any issues with my previous butchers not very far from this place, always had clea sized meat cut with great customer service. Unfortunately I will have to stop going to the Southland butcher and return to my previous one.

Edit: In response to the reply by the business: I’ve already mentioned that as this was my local butcher after I moved into the area, so I had to give them a fair go, until they repeatedly disregarded customer requests. I do not mind a drive down to my old butcher, at least there is peace of mind for good quality meat and good customer service. There were chunks hair on the fat attached to the meat, yuck. Bad...

We have local butchers nearby, but we travel 18 km’s from home to stock up on all our meat from The Willetton Butcher. The friendly guys here have looked after us for years. They have an awesome range to choose from and all their product is top quality. We have never had a dodgy thing from here, everything has been delicious. Top quality meat at very affordable prices. Pleasant staff who take pride in the preparation and presentation of the meat. They are always willing to assist and offer suggestions to the customer on how to cook or prepare the meat purchased.

Willetton Butcher has been my butcher for many years now and will be for many more. It is one of the few traditional butchers shops still in existence.
