Willing Coffee Guildford — Restaurant in Western Australia

Went on Tuesday (17/01/23) after having been a customer on and off since they first opened, and it will be the last time. Rude customer service most of the time, but this occasion, a staff member came outside and in front of customers suggested they (workers) couldn’t hear themselves inside because of my dog whining. This team member accused me of having been there with my barking dog “every day of the week- disturbing customers”, I had only been 2x, and that day was the only occasion my dog barked a little due to anxiety (other dogs at tables- other dogs who are there all the time and often bark at people and dogs walking past the public footpath). Also, my dog was tied to a tree, on the council verge owned by the council, not this private cafe. Along with this, their coffee is inconsistent and usually weak and watery, I’m not surprised by other reviews from Melbourne folk how bad Perth coffee and service is- it’s true! Awful experience in general, belittled in front of other customers- avoid this place...

It is unfortunate that the coffee was excellent, but I must express my concern about the lack of child-friendly service. The young ladies serving seemed inexperienced and perhaps unfamiliar with the needs of children. My grandson politely requested another marshmallow, specifically a pink one, as he enjoys having one white and one pink marshmallow with his baby chino. Despite his young age of three and his polite request, he was denied and 5he marshmallows were removed from the counter and he was told that he had already received one. After shopping with a group of friends, we were tired & heard about your shop. We arrived there placed orders for food & coffee. Then overheard someone say it's a cashless store. Went & confirmed & true enough. Wanted to support a local business but will never support a Cashless business. Such high EFTPOS charges is a burden on small businesses. Furthermore Cash is. Legal Tender. Why should anyone not accept it? With all the scamming & hacking of accounts why would anyone want to ban cash.
