Lovely park in Guildford by the Swan River for either a picnic or a walk along the river. Signs point out the history of the area. A good toilet block is available along with picnic tables and chairs under large shady trees. Bench seats are located along the river if you need to take a rest or just sit and watch the sun go down. A great place for family picnics. Plenty of room for children to run around.

I really liked watching the cricket here, with lots of shady trees, $5 beer in glass bottles, really good $5 burgers, and the adjacent river. I had never been here before today, but went to watch the Perth Scorchers WBBL match and was surprised by the free entry. It is very quick leaving if you park up the street so don't need to queue to get out.

Another fabulous festival again this year! For those there to cheer on The Avon Valley Descent race, not only were there lots of great things to do, scrumptious things to eat but also another stunning day in this beautiful park. Love this spot and this annual event. Cheers, Swan Valley Council and event organisers!

Turf is sensational. Amenities on the other hand disgusting. Had a 5/6 kids game there this morning and couldn't take the kids or go myself. It stank of weeks old mess. Floor was covered in urine so too the seats. No toilet paper. Perhaps some of the money spent on turf maintenance can go to cleaning toilets and actually providing 1st world facilities instead of something out of a third...

I love Lilac Hill for many reasons. Fond memories of great Cricket matches reside here still. The place has atmosphere worthy of a great Cricket stadium. Tranquil beside the Swan River it rests whilst no quarter is being offered by opponents in combat for points or bragging rights. An opportunity for all Cricket lovers embracing all genders, beliefs and ability. Only my home...
