If you’re looking for more than a quick takeaway meal, this probably isn’t the place for you. The service model is very minimal – there’s no table service, and food and drinks are simply called out by name for you to collect yourself. Once you’re done, you’re expected to dispose of your rubbish and stack dishes on a trolley.

The cleanliness was also a major letdown. The table I sat at had old food stuck to it, and there were flies swarming around – definitely not a pleasant environment to eat in.

Everything is served in disposable cardboard containers, including the cutlery, which really takes away from any kind of dine-in experience. I ordered a BLT and was underwhelmed – it came with a single, undercooked slice of bacon and was more appropriate in size for a child’s meal.

This might be a decent stop for a grab-and-go coffee, but if you’re after quality food, cleanliness, attentive service, or a comfortable dining experience, I’d recommend...

I ordered coffees and hot food. The girl that took my order asked for my name, which I gave her (and spelt it). I waited ages. The owner was so preoccupied with the young girl waiting next to me (he apologised to her for her wait) that he was oblivious to the fact that I had waited much longer. This made me realise something was going wrong with my order so I approached the girl that served me at the counter, only to discover my order sitting there and had gone stone cold. When I asked whose order it was she said “I think I must have forgot your name”. No attempt made to get my name when she “forgot it”, no apology and no offer to replace the spoiled food. Staff need...
