Foo Wah Seafood Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Willetton

It is a small Chinese restaurant in willetton. It is not a very prominent place. But the place is constantly packed. I decided to walk up to the restaurant today without doing any prior reservation. It was jam packed but they manage to find a table for me with the condition that I have to vacate the table in 1.5 hours. It is more than sufficient for me as we do not need that long to order and eat. We sat down and the waitress was really good in recommending us dishes and the food was excellent. And the service is excellent also and good food with positive customer experience deserves a five star rating and more people should patronise the restaurant. The lemon chicken was great as the chicken meat is really tender. For seafood lover, the salted egg prawn is super tasty and the squid is very cook also and very tender. And the common dish of sweet and sour pork is also very well done. The last dish of tauhu with glass noodle and cooked with cauliflower and mushroom and bamboo shoots (it looks like one) is very special and...

I purchased three take away dishes from this place on 15th March 2014 and quite frankly as far as two of the dishes were concerned it must be the worst chinese food I have ever had the misfortune to taste. The Chicken dishes consisted of stringy tough chicken covered in a soggy batter which was almost impossible to masticate so I called the restaurant to complain, but the gentleman on the phone said he was unable to hear me, so I visited the restaurant with the remainder of the food and was told that that was the way they served it. I suggested that if they had served this poor quality of food to me on a dine in basis I would have sent it back to the kitchen. No refund was offered nor was any kind of apology. Eat here at...

A mix of good to fairly ordinary food (at best) and at a price premium to equivalents within range.
