Under staffed, under trained
Came through drive through an had an order on the maccas app as I’m picky an wanted to add and take stuff on my burger. It took 10mins to get through the line an everyone was nice about it an apologised for the lateness. Got home, was missing nugget sauce (not a big deal for some but for my 5 year old it was the end of the world) an they had given me the wrong burger, so I went back to the store as I’m only 3 mins up the road. I waited instore for about 10mins before anyone spoke to me. There was 3 back area lads standing there doing nothing an chatting, 1 drive through worker that was busy. 1 manager that was under pressure running around like a headless chicken. I heard the manger call out to see if anyone can help with front area as in the time I stood there, there was another 3-4 people waiting. Once the manger had a chance he finally came over to assist me. I wanted the new bbq an bacon quarterpounder but was made incorrectly, he told the back area boys the order an got them to remake, they made the burger wrong again an made the deluxe burger (2nd time doing this) the manger then got them to remake again (3rd time lucky) An it was still incorrect, so the manger had to go back an make it himself. An packed the sauce in that was missing.
Im not one to complain, but 35-40mins for the order to be incorrect more then 3 times it’s abit ridiculous. The manger was doing the best to his capacity. The store needs to review an train there other crew so you don’t have 3 blokes standing around while one is running...

While waiting there was a lady that was order number 153 which was ordered at 10.03 pm and she had been waiting 33minutes for 3 meals which what I could see was 3burgers three sundays and a drink, these orders were handed to her with ice creams first and then the burgers 25 minutes later with her ice creams melted so I demanded a refund for her and your employees threw her food in the bin, that food should have been given to her along with a refund to compensate the cold food and melted ice creams and time wasted waiting for your 12 employees to serve hers...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusted in the customer service from the night manager in the grey shirt. We had finished a night of speedway in Toowoomba and we are car full looking for a meal before a 3hr trip home. We had a trailer on the back and unable to take it through the driveway. My husband went up to the door and asked if we could order 5 meals. The manager was rude, obnoxious and would not acknowledge my husband who was asking the simple question. As a Manager, show respect, be a role model to the staff you employed. All you had to do was politely and I high light ‘politely’ acknowledge my husband and explain sorry no we cannot as it’s after 12pm. Rather than eventually stare at my husband for a split second, symbolising, running your hand across your neck as you walked away. I highly recommend that you participate in a course on Leadership and Management. Which will help you to learn the following skills. *Leading and managing workplace relationships and team effectiveness. *Emotional intelligence. This will also give you the opportunity to better yourself as a human being.
