Been here a few times, food had always been fresh and tasty. We dropped in for lunch today and it was no different. The food display, as usual, was fabulous and everything looked delicious. We ordered the beef in red wine pie with a side salad, a pumpkin feta pesto quiche and drinks. The dish of the day was the pie. It was generous, filled with flavourful n tender beef chunks encased in a perfect pie crust. I must acknowledge that it was a bit pricey but imho the quality of food justified the prices. However, I do think it would be good to have the prices displayed, or staff could offer more info as well.

Looking for good food and a place to hang out for a few hours... this is your place!! On a hot Sunday morning, it was refreshing to walk into relieving air con. 😊 Presentation of dinning area and food display is A+. But it's the food and attention to detail that makes experience a must. Your own pepper and salt grinder are brought to your table with food... and they work and arnt jammed with grease!! (unlike many other establishments) Bonus, the tomato relish with scrambled eggs is a must try!! 🤤🤤

Came here twice during a visit to Wollongong. Fantastic coffee and food. We had two kinds of quiches, an omlette, and an orange and almond cake we liked so much we ordered more! They also sell frozen meals you can take home. We loved the chicken and corn soup and the vegetarian lasagne. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Open later than most cafes. Underrated!

Good variety of food, we went with my family a couple of times during the weekend! However last time I took friends over for a meal the tables were very dirty. After we ordered our food and sat down in the corner by the plot on the way to the kitchen, I asked for some water (hoping that the waitress will notice and take care of our table). We were advised to go and get it ourselves from the table by the wall. If we haven't paid for our order, we would have left as nobody cleaned the table (I did it myself with a spray and paper towels). One of our meals was forgotten (even though it was ordered and paid for), so I had to go back to the cash register and enquire about it....They even didn't apologise about it! One of us had to wait extra time for the new "old" order... That was the last time in Cucina for me...

Delicious brunch, poached eggs with avocado and rocket (the rocket had a delicious dressing on it and the eggs were perfectly poached). My partner had the avo and haloumi bruschetta, which was also very tasty (haloumi not too salty or rubbery and cooked perfectly). He also said the fresh lemon, pineapple, orange and ginger juice was delicious and nutritious. Prices are not heaps cheap, but quite affordable, and since the food was great, the prices reflect the quality of the food. Service was quick and professional. My only criticism would be the paper cups for water, glasses would be better for the environment. There's also heaps of delicious looking quiches, pastries and cakes to buy, definitely will be back...

NOT KID FRIENDLY!!!

Went to Cucina with my young family. My 18 month old and 3 yo were walking around our table speaking somewhat loudly - as kids do. The manager rudely told me to restrain my children because they were bothering other customers (I did not see one complaint made to management or service staff). The cafe was more than half empty. The irony is that my kids can be a lot worse than they were on that day! Taking two kids and a newborn to a cafe is stressful enough without dealing with the judgement of a disgruntled Cafe worker.

I'll be taking my business to the other kid friendly cafes of the 2515 and I...
