I’m warning everyone who reads this, about delivery drivers not closing gates when they leave. 6 weeks ago the delivery driver who delivered our pizzas left our gate open as he left, and our beautiful Border Collie family pet of 8 years, got out, was hit by a car, and the emergency trip to the vet resulted in us having to have him put down, because of his extensive injuries. To make matters worse, because I couldn’t prove any of this with no security camera footage, despite having a vet bill which itemises euthanasia and cremation, dated the same day as the pizza order, the franchisee denies any responsibility, insisting the driver shut the gate. I also sent feedback emails, through the Domino’s website. The first phone call from not the franchisee, but the store manager was most unsatisfactory, she was insinuating that I was lying. I sent other feedback emails, and was promised phone calls from head office that never eventuated. I finally after 5 weeks contacted head office myself and after a week (now 6 weeks after the incident) was told that they would not accept any responsibility for what happened and would not offer to pay the vet bill which I thought would be the least that Dominos’s could do to resolve the incident with me. They apologised but they refuse to reimburse me for the vet bill, so in essence, they have not acknowledged their employees negligence and I would hate for this to happen to anyone else. R.2nd order replacement pizza burnt ordered extra veg large and snx box desert all burnt refused to honour my chicken wings as manager forgot to include in replacement rung up spoke to guy who said was manager and would replace the whole order again name was wil. Went down today and had to argue with the store manager as she claims she cannot replace my whole order as was promised cause will apparently not manager. Showed her pics still wouldn't honour it and only replaced the desert box and the original subrem. After waiting for the next order she down graded from an exl to large and stated that was what was order. After arguing again and again with someone else I finally got the pizza I was suppose to of got in the beginning. If the staff were trained properly and took care in their making there wouldn't be any complaints. We work hard for our money and entitled to decent food not burnt and cold if u don't want to work there than leave don't create stress for everyone else. Not happy had just got out of hospital having a pacemaker and had to get in the car and have hubby drive me down just to go through this. I paid for extra spinach on one pizzas and there were only 5 leaves on the entire pizza (and this is a pizza that already had baby spinach), I paid for extra meat on one pizza and red onion and they put the extras on the vegetarian pizza. It was not a user error scenario. Toppings have become stingy with a disgusting amount of cheese on all pizzas to hide the lack of toppings. Tonight we purchased a pepperoni pizza and it came out with 2-3 pieces of peperoni maximum per slice and a disgusting amount of cheese - nothing like the advertised product and the team refused to remake it because we should have told them we wanted less cheese. Should I ask everytime I eat out for the pizza to look like the product advertised? You were quite rude and frankly we went straight to another dominoes and got better service and the same product purchased and a beautifully made pizza.
