The experience with staff customer service have generally been pleasant this past week. However, the reason for this rating is my utter disgust in the experience this morning as I grabbed my morning coffee, directly from the new face who I later learnt to be the Supervisor Cath. She made my coffee but I couldnt taste the caramel at all it was bitter, when I told her she asked me bluntly to pay extra for the caramel. I proceeded to the counter to where I was served by the familiar and always smiling young lady who has served me and my family over the past week, Cath ordered her to charge me for the extra caramel. I was naturally shocked at the price of the caramel $1.50 taking the total cost of my Caramel Cap to a total of $10, I said to the lovely young lady "oh wow that's expensive 😳". Cath the supervisor rudely spoke over me with her rude tone saying "don't worry about it, WHATEVER". I said, excuse me, there's no need to give me attitude, it's just my opinion with the inflation of the pricing. Her response, again so rude... "we'll I don't make the prices". Wow, I'm gobsmacked at how unAustralian and the lack of good will customer service. It's rude and unacceptable, I left quite disgusted and wasn't going to pay the $1.50. I ended up walking back for the sake of the pleasant staff I've had all week, I wanted to pay the extra and raise my concerns directly with the owners, only to get the cocky response from Cath "I'm the supervisor and the owner is on holiday", my response, "well as the supervisor there is no need to be rude, rather you need to set a good example for your staff, it's disgusting." My opinion did not warrant the rudeness and I am the paying customer at the end of the day. The owner needs to caution and deal to this supervisor as she is not an ideal person to lead from the front! Besides, you are in a hospital with alot of people patients and people traffic, consideration and great customer service is a must! People have bigger issues like my situation, just coming out of a meeting with doctors and surgeons over my mothers serious health issues, this was confrontingly unnecessary, inappropriate and unpleasant on so...
Read moreI have been a regular customer of Long Shot Cafe for some time now, and I have to say that Cat is one of the main reasons why I keep coming back. She is an absolute joy to be around and always greets me with a warm smile and a friendly hello.
Not only is Cat incredibly personable and friendly, but she is also extremely knowledgeable about the cafe's menu and can make great recommendations based on my preferences. Her attention to detail is impressive, and she always ensures that my order is prepared exactly the way I like it.
Another thing I appreciate about Cat is her efficiency. Even during the busiest times, she remains calm and collected, ensuring that all customers are served promptly and with a smile. Her hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed, and I believe she is a true asset to the cafe.
Overall, I highly recommend Long Shot Cafe to anyone looking for great coffee and delicious food, but most importantly, I highly recommend Cat as an outstanding employee who always goes above and beyond to make sure her...
Read moreStale donut, absolutely woeful fried rice and a pie that screamed to death long ago. Now hospital food is always pretty bad, you buy it for purely the convenience of not having to leave the paid parking to stuff around and come back to drive around and around looking for a friggen park in what seems like an already over flowing shamble. Apart from the convenience really the only thing this place has going for itself is the lovely staff who were an absolute delight. Even my daughter commented on the fact she knew so many people's names and their order's. It may have just been a bad day, it does happen. We've got to return to the hospital and with kids it's a given we'll be here again hopefully with a difference experience so I can update the post to...
