I used to love this place. It used to be my favourite Japanese restaurant. It was on the good location with plenty of parking. The only problem I have now is the cost cut. The fishes are still the same quality as before. But it was so tiny and thin. As you can see in the photos that they are so thin and you can see through them. Another shame is the chicken Katsudon. They are not crispy at all. The chicken was sloppy, wet and taste disgracefully. As you can see in the photos that chicken is really tiny the rest just powder. However, they still keep the quality on double salmon and all staff are lovey, if they can fix the problem of the food. I will be appreciate it.

food wasnt bad but not great either. the gyoza filling was good but the wrap was doughy. the chicken "ramen" was basic noodle soup with unseasoned chicken breast pieces. the soup base needed a punch, perhaps side spices or chilli paste would be good to add a kick. takoyaki balls were really yummy. pork curry katsu - the currey was too watery and the pork was overcooked and super dry. the food experience was so and so for us.

If you're looking for a nice, decent, affordable Japanese place for lunch, this place is perfect. Good service, great food, menu selection was decent as well. I was so surprised at how well-priced they were considering the quality and portion size. Sashimi serving was very generous. My favourite was the 'Moon's Sushi', that was delicious!

We came in for dinner a couple of nights ago. It was quite and the staff were friendly. The food, however, was disappointing.

We ordered: Moons Artisitic roll California roll Crab caroke Goyza Mixed plate Sushimi Raman

I tried all of this and honestly, nothing was great. It wasn't terrible but to order so much food and not have any of it taste great was disappointing. My raman was probably the worst. It lacks flavour so much that I had to ask for more sauce and added that in, along with soy sauce and wasabi just to make it eatable.

I probably won't be returning. However you may have a different experience. I gave 3 stars because we came in 1 hour before closing time and ordered alot of food and they did deliver on that despite it not being...

The sushi and sashimi "tray presentation" looked good but the taste were so bad, we just want to leave----. We'd been to so many Japanese restaurants in Sydney and Japan and this was the first time in our life the sushi taste so bad, rice was warm and soggy!! Prawns were tasteless and the sashimi were not fresh. Flies were seen flying around the restaurant and inside the open kitchen. Both of us had diarrhea after the meals!! Where are those Japs Food Art and Culture! With this kind of food preparation and cooking standard, I wonder the chef (?itamae) or the team has any strict training and apprenticeship. And I wonder who gave those 4 to 4.5 stars, I'll definitely give "NO STAR" for this restaurant, waste my...
