Crown Medical Centre Wollongong — Local services in Wollongong City Council

I had an appointment with my regular doctor at the practice and unfortunately they tried to call me regarding a very urgent medical matter in which i required immediate action on and i missed the call by less than 10 seconds and couldn't call back as the practice had shut and the phone line closed with no way of contacting them. The following day I made another appointment about the same matter and spoke with a doctor who refused to help me at first and tried to palm me off to someone else. After I explained that Crown Medical Centre was the practice that order the pathology tests and had received the results and that I require a referral from this practice to get the medical attention I required in Sydney she stated that she cannot do it and that another doctor can do it. She said verbatim "Why cant the other doctor do it". After explaining the only reason I was speaking with her over my regular doctor was that i required the necessary Prescription, Referral and Blood work that afternoon to proceed with the booked treatment I had at 4pm and I had unfortunately been unable to get in contact with my regular doctor at the practice otherwise I would be waiting till the New Year to receive the treatment i desperately needed as my condition was worsening quickly she told me she would do it abruptly and then hung up the phone. So i would not say that DR Nitty Muhunthan had any intention of genuinely helping me when she called me that day and was so reluctant to prioritise my health over what she felt was...

I do not recommend this doctor surgery, I had been attending the surgery for a couple of years now to my mother calling me saying how rude the receptionist are and highly unprofessional, she was waiting for a appointment that she felt was confidential and didn’t was to disclose that information to the receptionist when she asked bluntly and very rudely, a result of that my mother left the surgery In tears, I called up to try and consult with the surgery of what happened she was rude and abused me on the phone and told me I was no longer accepted into the surgery, I feel it was very unprofessional and disgusting how she treated me and my mother, we come to doctors because we feel it’s safe to tell the doctors our confidential issues and not receptionist who are always rude, when arriving into the surgery, I’m extremely disappointed and disgusted in their performances as a professional surgery, I do not recommend crown...

I ask for emergency appointment in walk in. Ask for waiting till end and Receptionist said we care going to call police 👮‍♀️. Wow is it professional way to talk someone in trouble. Anyway Dr. Kalsi is nice but staff is very unprofessional. So never walk in otherwise they will call police 🙏🙏🙏🙏

This is 2nd time I had bad experience. I have blood test last month.same day I have booked telephone appointment receive phone call from doctor about my results whenever it come . It’s been 4 weeks I didn’t get any message from centre my results came or not .
