WARNING! Disgusting experience. I booked table for 14 (family gathering): I rang the day before to clarify menu options. I spoke with the chef and I asked whether they have VEGAN options and the chef replied “WATER and LETTUCE ”. I was SO shocked that I went silent and he replied “only joking”. I replied that “my two vegan daughters do not deserve to be treated like this”. I spoke with the manager=apology, email=apology but there was NO attempt to make me feel the apology was meaningful (discount etc). My daughters felt SO HUMILIATED. A majority of the meals were TERRIBLE (poor quality, small serving and overpriced). Eg Chicken breast was raw/pink on the bone, Thai rissole salad 5 bite size (50 cent coin) rissoles with 20cm diameter pathetic salad costing nearly $30!!! Meals took over 1hr to arrive (hungry children) as I think they considered garlic bread/chips enough to be considered as an entree. Will NEVER return and NEVER recommend this RSL to anyone. My two nieces have had multiple terrible experiences with this club before. Sadly, I had no option but to have the family birthday meal (couldn’t book anywhere else for 14 within the day). Updated review (review from 4 years prior below) The Chefs here are now great. Burgers are excellent & the chips are good too. They deserve a 5 star rating now.

Its a shame they have no clue what good service is. If you like waiting an hour and a half for your food to come out on any given Saturday night or lunchtime, great.. but it turns up cold too. This has happened time & time again - every Saturday. I don't know what the other nights are like, but they still haven't worked out they're short staffed & would prefer to make the customer angry rather than give good service and hire more people. This experience has been the same for others i've spoken with to the point they go elsewhere. Other than that, its a great atmosphere and kids play area. They just need to rehire the chefs that left a few years back and...

We went there for dinner last night, where to start? We waited 1 hour for garlic bread Meals came 30 minutes later, all meals were cold, overcooked and overpriced. One meal came with no hollandaise sauce and overcooked rubbery prawns, when I asked for some sauce it had been pre-made and tasted shocking. The rump steak did not appear to be rump steak and was overcooked. The grilled chicken tasted like rubber. Finishing off with the salad which did not appear to be freash. Parents with kids there need to watch their kids more. The same child almost knocked me over twice when I had drinks and the mother was really rude when I asked her to watch her kids more closely. We had kids with us too who were not running around...
