Being a local I thought I'd call and speak to the manager rather than leaving a negative review but since he was rude and hung up on me here we are.. Stay away from the menu if you are vegetarian/vegan or have food allergies because it appears they have no clue about different dietary requirements. You guys CANNOT serve food marked as vegetarian when you can't answer whether it includes fish sauce, prawns etc. I ordered a vegan toastie because vegetarian one had seafood seasoning (!!!) according to staff. Then the manager told me he "personally wouldn't order it" because they only do one batch of kimchi and he does not know whether it has seafood in it. So why mark it as though vegan and vegetarian option available. My husband being a vegetarian ate your VEGETARIAN toastie containing seafood, this is outrageous guys. What an absolute mess. I hope anyone with food allergies avoids this place...

We visited this place yesterday, since we were passing through the town on our trip to Brisbane. It was alarmingly good. The menu was a delight, without the usual ‘replacement for meat’ type meals you often find on veggie friendly menus - super innovative and absolutely delicious. So many gluten free options too which we were over the moon about. We had the sweet potato wedges and something beetrooty/buckwheaty/kaley on almond loaf, from the specials ...and both were absolutely spectacular. Actually salivating thinking about them. The staff were amazing, really attentive but not in an every-three-seconds kind of way. They were considerate when we ordered, careful to notice our preferences, making suggestions in line with...

Wish I could give 6 out of 5 stars!! I highly recommend Ground Earth, especially to all plant based eaters and vegans! Food is presented in a unique/beautiful way. Flavors are devine and one of a kind! Their spice chai lattes are wonderful, and I'm grateful they use Bonsoy (organic soy mylk)! The root vegetable toastie blew my mind! Their savoury lentils were mouth watering! The Sago Porridge was extremely memorable and I miss it already! They cook with so much love and flavor! Keep up the marvellous work Ground Earth! Thank you for providing a cozy atmosphere. My husband and I hope to visit you and enjoy your delicious nourishing food again soon! Thank you...

Ate here twice in our short stay at Woolgoolga and cannot fault this place. Ordered what we thought would be ordinary toasties and ended up with a premium gourmet experience, who knew the pairing of roast pumpkin with cashew cream and some kind of mint sauce could be so delicious? Next time round we tried the breakfast pancakes and quesadilla dishes and were just as impressed! Someone in that kitchen certainly knows what they're doing. Service was great, coffee pretty good too, do yourself a favour and try this place out, just wish we had longer here!

$5 FOR 11 HOT CHIPS! While the service was great, location and atmosphere were good, we were bamboozled with 'the side' of chips served to us. Food was nice. HOWEVER, we ordered 2 bowls of chips as a side. The bowls were tiny as shown in the picture, one bowl n held just 11 chips. Being gobsmacked, we asked the waitress about the 11 chips in the bowl for $5 each. She said the owner/manager was not there, nothing she could do and she was sorry we felt it was not good enough. Not good enough was right, won't be going back again.

I had a corn bread with beans and eggs dish. I can't remember the name of it but it was delicious. Excellent service, waitress recommended avocado with the meal, which was a great addition. Also had the cold brew with fresh lime- never had that before was an interesting new flavour that at first I wasn't sure about but it grew on me! Also great little selection of handmade gifts and every meal that came out looked amazing. Have stopped in here twice on the way between Mullumbimby and Sydney and will again. 👌🏽🩵
