Went to Andrew’s restaurant 2 months ago during a busy period at work helping with floods. Needed a decent break and Andrew offered me so much more! I was actually on my way to KFC, but this restaurant caught my attention by its unique style in the area. I had a chicken schnitzel burger with fries. This is really not what I usually have, however the kitchen was about to close and this is what Andrew recommended. The burger was kept simple with the right amount of ingredients, it didn’t feel too much to eat and too messy like every other schnitzel burgers I had before! The first and last time I visited I was served pancakes that were still batter inside. When I complained the chef took it personally and said that’s how they’re served and that I could have something else but would have to pay for them. Really did not appreciate the attitude and it left me really upset. I ended up eating some of my parents food which seemed fine. But that attitude is extremely upsetting when dealing with customers. It’s a shame since I was excited to visit here due to the high rating.

Hardwick's is easily the best cafe in Woy Woy. Try a snack, a meal or just a coffee. You will not be disappointed. Us locals love Hardwick's relaxed, friendly atmosphere and chatting with mine host Andrew or his wife Ann-Marie. Andrew prides himself on his coffee and justifiably - it is excellent.
