NARGIS GOURMET FOOD — Restaurant in Wyong

Hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the service was miserable. no greeting, no effort, just attitude. The food took forever to come out, and when it finally did, it looked and tasted like it had been sitting around for hours. The meat was dry and chewy, the chips were soggy and cold, and everything was dripping in oil. It honestly felt like no one there cared about what they were serving or how they treated customers.

The whole place gave off a lazy, careless vibe , like they’ve given up on even trying to run a decent business. Not once did anyone check if the food was okay or if we needed anything. For the prices they charge, you’d expect at least basic respect and quality, but you get neither. I left feeling ripped off and annoyed that I even bothered coming here.

I usually try to support local businesses, but my experience with Nargis Gourmet Food in Wyong has been really disappointing. The store feels extremely outdated it looks like nothing has been upgraded or maintained properly in years. Shelves are dusty, floors are often dirty, and overall the place just feels neglected. Cleanliness is a major concern. On multiple visits, I noticed poor hygiene practices, especially around the food preparation area. The store gives off a strong smell that’s not fresh or appetising , and it makes you second guess buying anything from the fridge or freezer sections. Stock is disorganised and limited, and the customer service is inconsistent at best. It doesn’t feel like the owners take pride in the business, and that reflects in the overall quality and presentation. At one point it was fantastic at one point there was a woman who worked there who was extremely friendly and they had great service and good food however I have changed my mind lately I went in to order grabbed a drink and was going to order the mango chicken but was appalled to see a dead fly in the mango chicken I told the guy I was that disgusted I paid for my drink and left but noticed on my way out all he did was scoop the fly out with a ladle and put in the bin did not throw out the whole mango chicken he literally just kept serving mango chicken...
