Sweet and Spicy — Restaurant in Yamba

Had a take-away of lamb korma and an extra roti. My friend was having the korma whilst me and my son were both gonna have a roti with our home prepared meal. My friend said the lamb was super dry and the sauce tasteless. I didn’t realise that roti had butter in it (my mistake, I thought oil), so me and bub couldn’t eat it, so I gave that to our friend who chucked out the korma as it was “gross” in his words. He said the roti was yummy so that’s a plus. The lady who served us was very friendly. So customer service was worth more stars but just going off the food, two stars...

Absolutely loved this restaurant and by the looks of it so does everyone else! Every table was full the night we ate here and the staff were flat out and I mean seriously flat out - they did not stop! That said they were still super friendly and did not show signs of being overwhelmed (something other restaurants should take note of). We ordered the Arancini Balls, Duck Rolls, Beef Empanadas , BBQ Pork Steam Buns and Potato Gnocchi for the table. All were delicious and everyone loved the dishes. Would definitely dine here again when we’re back in Yamba....

I'm very picky when it comes to food and service. This place has won me 5 stars. Duck roll entree, Yamba fish with amazing chilli jam and Garlic chilli prawn salad were top. Service was great. They had the right sequence and dining etiquette.

1. Drinks came immediately after order was placed

2. Side plates arrived before entree

3. Side plates cleared and waitress asked if we wanted a new set of cutlery or keep

4. When mains arrived, waitress knew who had which and called out dish name
