Le Burger Graz — Restaurant in Graz

The service today at Le Burger was beyond acceptable in any way shape or form. To be seated without a reservation was lucky since we noticed that it was quite busy, however I wish we hadn't even sat down.

After ordering drinks at our table, a second waiter came to us to ask if we'd been waited on. But we decided to order now already. However, shortly after (approximately 5 minutes later) ordering Süßkartoffeln, fries and two burgers, the waiter returned with Süßkartoffel fries before we had even received drinks. The waiter explicitly said "Diese stammten von einem anderen Tisch" and then asked my partner if she too would like the same "Möchtest du auch Süßkartoffeln?" And laughed, even though we only wanted 1 portion of Süßkartoffeln. We were both shocked to be served food that had already been initially served to another table, prior to even receiving drinks.

We proceeded to leave as we did not want to get sick from eating the leftovers from someone else's table.

As we left we complained to the staff on the ground floor that we want to cancel our order since we believe that we do not deserve to eat leftovers. However, the waiter who had served us said leftovers, immediately said that those Süßkartoffeln were free! This was not mentioned previously when he had already served the food to our table.

Another waiter claimed that we were unable and not allowed to leave despite this. And proceeded to get his phone out to "call the police" even though we had not, and would not touch leftover food from someone else. Not to mention the fact that we didn't even have our drinks yet!

The waiter who served us the leftover food additionally lied to us and said that he never told us that the food was from another table, however he did not realise that we are able to speak German despite him claiming that the food was fresh already.

Regardless of this, as soon as we walked out, and told the 2 waiters that he had told us that "Diese stammten von einem anderen Tisch" they both hurried back inside and put their phones away!

No apology whatsoever. I'd probably advise others to avoid this place and if the food you'd been served was indeed cold, then it was probably already at another person's table. A shame that many have said this place was great in the past, now it seems that profit comes before hygiene and customer service. Utterly...

While strolling through Graz with a friend, we stumbled upon this new spot that immediately caught our eye. From the outside, it had this modern loft vibe with a touch of vintage charm—super inviting and hard to resist. So, of course, we had to check it out!

Once inside, it got even better. Picture cozy armchairs paired with actual swings (yes, swings!), giving the place a cool and quirky edge. Upstairs, there’s a beautiful, intimate bar area, perfect for sipping drinks and unwinding in style.

The menu? Absolutely impressive. Tons of variety, all with top-notch ingredients. And here’s the cherry on top: they have a whole section dedicated to sauces—over ten kinds, totally free, and you can grab as much as you want, whenever you want. It’s like a dream come true for sauce lovers!

What really stood out, though, was the staff. They accidentally got our order wrong, but they handled it like pros—quickly brought the correct dish and didn’t charge us a cent for the mix-up. That kind of service is rare these days and definitely made us feel special.

Another thing I loved? This place seems to be a go-to spot for students. The chill atmosphere and comfy seating make it perfect for studying or working while hanging out with friends. Add some good food and coffee to the mix, and you’ve got yourself an ideal study...

I've come here a couple of times, so here's my "long(er)-term" review:

The ambiance of the place is awesome, the drinks and side dishes are great (I highly recommend the Mac'n'Cheese which comes as a deep-fried cube), the sauce refill station is a total gamechanger, the service is quick and friendly, and it's so much fun coming up with your own personalized burger

First time I've opted for a pre-defined burger with a beef patty. This was my most mediocre experience, it was just okay. Second time I went for a self-customized burger with a beef patty. WAY better already. Third time (is the charm) i went for a self-customized burger with a crunchy chicken patty. The hattrick!

There's one more thing I wanted to mention about the service, and it's pretty cool. One time I ended up with the wrong burger, but I was totally fine with it and told the waiter. But he insisted on getting me a fresh one in no time. On top of that they even threw in a free beer as a bonus! Seriously an awesome...
