They don't have the 2nd floor yet, which is a must for a place like this, in my opinion. The waiters/waitresses are very friendly and hardworking. They are multilingual so we were able to order in our mother tongue, which isn't German or English. They were rather fast, considering how many people there were. It's very quiet and some people will definitely give you a look if your table is a bit loud because there are a lot of you (including an older person with hearing problems and small children). We all ordered pizzas. Vegetariana was a bit weird because it had a pickled vegetable, not sure what it was. Pizzabröt was alright and pizza with tuna and onions was amazing. Prices are a bit too high for the standard of the country I come from. They have very few tea options which is a shame, but the ones they do have are good. A big plus is that they have vegetarian options and therefore halal options. Even tho there is alcohol, it's muslim friendly otherwise. Toilettes are very clean and well equipped. Overall, I give them 4 stars because 5 stars get those who are the best of the best, and there is a possibility that a better place than...
Read moreWe've already had dinner here several times. The staff are very friendly, the ambience is fine (what you would expect). Reservations are almost always necessary for several people (more than 3). It's unlikely that you'll get a seat if you're lucky. In summer it is quite warm inside.
The first time we had prosciutto with artichoke and bread as a starter. Then a pizza marinara special and a kind of musakka. All dishes were excellent. As a non-wine drinker, I really enjoyed the white house wine.
As a starter we had the Russian shrimp salad, which was excellent. The fresh bread with it was fantastic. For the main course we had various pizzas, Capricciosa, Gobbo (not on the pictures), Intrigrante, Calcone and a Rustica I think (but correct me if I am wrong). The dough is very thin, which I personally like better than thick bases. The edges are crispy and a little soft. Unfortunately, it doesn't come close to a classic Napoliatana pizza (that's complaining on a...
The experience in this restaurant was rather strange, so we are giving it a mixed review.
The staff does not now know, or does not want to speak English. They speak German with occasionally inserting some Italian words like when replying "You're welcome". The menus also lack English translation, there's only German and Italian. My wife therefore had problems understanding the dishes.
Two waiters were chill, however, this one waitress, who also seated us was like a live wire. After seating us, she seemed to orbit around us, giving us suspitious looks, which sometimes made us unease. She also seemed to act out while serving us, so we preferred interacting with other staff members. It was also kind of cold inside and you can't order extra tomato sauce on your pizza.
Now for the good part: my spaghetti bolognese were nice and al dente, but the ration was rather small. The prices were alright,...
