Hotel Motel One Graz — Hotel in Graz

Motel ONE is centrally located in the heart of Graz. I stayed there for two nights for business. It takes about 10 minutes by tram from the Main Railway Station, cost-free with your train-ticket. Very friendly locals helped with the route to the motel. My room was spacious enough for me as a single traveler, but more space would surely have been nice for a couple. Everything was clean and the bed was amazing. Please bear in mind that there are not amenities other than a hair drier and a tv in the room: no glasses, no water kettle, no fridge etc. I asked for drinking glasses from the breakfast room, no problem there. A beautiful view from the room, a huge window as well. The window has two options for opening, and it almost opens up completely which you will have to be careful with. Some noise from outside during the night in Jakominiplatz. Public transport very easily accessible just outside the motel. Great take-out...

Nice and cosy, good location though sometimes loud from the traffic. The people from the reception should be more attentive to the issues that the clients concern. I did not have a good experience last time. One of them was not polite at all, I was laughed at. There are many rooms with very small windows where you feel like in a cellar. So it depends a lot which room you get. The photos on internet are from the nice rooms, which is disappointing when you get there. It would be fair to put the real photos of each room so people know when they book what they pay. And the price should be way lower for the bad rooms. The breakfast is too expensive for a cold breakfast. You may find nice options just outside at a 2-5 minutes walk. The rooms are very small, but do the job if your stay is for 1-2 nights. Great location but disappointing rooms. Paid extra for a superior room which was very small and an impractical layout. While it offered a great view of Jakominiplatz the large windows facing the sun made the room far to warm and the air cooling (don't think it was full air conditioning) was not adequate to make the room a comfortable temperature.
