A short walk from Schloss Eggenberg, this lovely traditional styrian tavern was a warm and welcoming spot for a late lunch. Generous portions starting off with a piping hot clear beef broth soup with liver dumplings - simply comfort food at its best! Then my husband and I tackled a side of potato salad and an ENORMOUS plate of schnitzel breaded with pumpkin seeds (yes, it’s enough to share!) Thick, tender and juicy schnitzel chop, yet perfectly crisp-fried (not oily tasting), it was really very very good! We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Roschitz. Every dish was fresh, delicious, and prepared with care – true 5-star quality. • The Fitness Salad was vibrant and full of flavor. • The Wiener Schnitzel was perfectly crispy and tender – one of the best we’ve had. • And the Kaiserschmarrn? Simply divine – fluffy, sweet, and unforgettable.
