We didnt eat anything so we cannot comment on the food. Drinks we had were great. Good cocktails. A person in our group mentioned the slow service to the waitress and it would be good instead of playing around behind the bar to tend to the guests. I do realize the playing around the bar is not really any of our business as long as the service is on point which it wasnt. The waitress apologized then took our second order. 5 minutes later she turned up and demanded we pay. We were okay with that and another person in our group asked casually if they were closing. She then proceeded to tell us no only in an hour but if guests didnt like the service they can pay and go. We were a bit suprised by the confrontational behaviour as she also threw the receipt at us. We paid the € 80 and at this point had full drinks which we stayed and finished. We had no problem with going somewhere else and carried on having our family gathering. A man who previously was drinking at the table next to us then stood behind one of the people belonging to our group and was asking them if they were looking around to see if they were working? The person said ahm no I am just looking around and we all started to listen up at the unusual question. He then proceeded to ask if we wanted to make a complaint. We didnt. We all started to feel very uncomfortable but then realised when we asked him he was the manager/boss. We told him all was good and decided it was best to go. He mumbled something along the lines of wishing us a good night and walked off a bit sheepishly. The drinks we had where all good and delicious but their behaviour was very bizarre. The service was slow but it was really not as big a deal as they ended up making it. I am not sure if they had a busy night and were stressed and tired which sometime makes you react unusual. Hospitality is hard and if you overreact over something like this it may really be time for a day off. Lots of other cool bars in the inner city. One little gem I can suggest is the irish pub which is owned by the loveliest turkish man unfortunately I do not know how to...
Read moreGood pizza …. Unfortunately very unhappy after leaving … first we order a bottle of wine they didn’t have … we’ve order the second one - supposed to be 2020- brought us 2018- so we said if they don’t have 2020 we want to order other bottle - the first Kellner said that Amarone is in the similar price ~55-65 so after few minutes manager brought 2 amarone bottles - one he said it clearly was 65 and other 95 - because I was inviting my partner we’ve chose the cheaper one … asked for a bill - 85 !!!! for amarone - asking manager why the price is so high - first he said - I said 85 not 65 but we both hear it clearly from both men that the price will be in same region as the second bottle … 65… then he said to my partner - with that watch you can clearly afford paying extra 20€ and after some time he said he doesn’t have all the prices in head … but if I want he gives me the 20€ …. First of all I was paying not my partner no matter the watch or shoes or car I have if u say 65 it’s 65 … with that kinda comments you just lost few potential clients as we know few ppl and definitely will spread the word… such shame our birthday celebration didn’t end up on the happy note …
