We visited this restaurant in Uderns and were absolutely blown away. From the very first moment, we felt truly welcomed – the interior strikes the perfect balance between traditional Austrian charm and modern design, creating a warm yet elegant atmosphere. The staff was outstanding – extremely friendly, smiling, and genuinely attentive. The whole place has a cozy, family-like vibe that made our experience even more enjoyable. The food was delicious – authentic Austrian cuisine with generous portion sizes that pleasantly surprised us. Every dish was full of flavor, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented. Absolute spotless accommodation, very clean and we'll maintained. We we're impressed by how clean it was. We got the family room, which was composed of 2 big bedrooms with queen size beds, very comfortable. The bathroom is quite big, very big shower. The towels we're changed daily, although it wasn't always necessarily.

The Gastehaus is located in a very quite area of Uderns, close to the main road, but far enough to not hear anything from it.

The location has a nice playground that kids enjoyed.

Breakfast is as usual in Austria, not a huge variety of products, but quality wise is very good.

We also had dinner in the restaurant in one of the evenings, very tasty food. Be aware that the restaurant isn't open daily, so check with owner when it is.

Would totally recommend the accommodation, considering also how beautiful the surrounding area is.

Essen Top Bedienung absoluter Flop PS: Die Antwort trifft nicht auf uns zu es wurde weder gesagt, dass der Tisch um 19:30 reserviert ist, noch wurde sich entschuldigt oder irgendein Nachtisch angeboten. Wir kamen in das Lokal und haben gefragt ob es noch einen Tisch für 2 gibt. Wir wurden direkt absolut unfreundlich angeschnautzt sie müsste schauen, obwohl mehr wie das halbe Lokal leer saß. Als wir einen Tisch bekamen wurde konstant unfreundlich mit uns geredet obwohl die anderen freundlich behandelt wurden. Augenkontakt bei Gesprächen war eine absolute Fehlanzeige, aber uns von hinter der Theke böse zu mustern war bei jeder Gelegenheit möglich. Leider kennt die Bedienung die Karte auch absolut nicht und trifft Falschaussagen über Inhalte der Karte. Als andere Kunden, auch in unserem jungen Alter in das Restaurant kamen, wurden diese ebenfalls absolut respektlos behandelt. Als diese nach glutenfreiem essen fragten, welches extra im Internet ausgeschildert wurde bekamen sie die Antwort sie sollen doch in der Karte schauen, obwohl in dieser gar keine Angaben zu Gluten sind. Eine weitere Auskunft gab es nicht. Absolut traurig und lächerlich. Als wir bezahlen wollten wurden wir über 15 Minuten nicht beachtet und absichtlich weg von uns geschaut. Der Chef hingegen macht einen total sympathischen Eindruck. Das Essen war sehr gut und die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr schön eingerichtet. Kartenzahlung ist jetzt möglich. Trotzdem würden wir nach dieser Behandlung nicht mehr wieder kommen. Schade das ein so schönes Lokal vom Personal absolut kaputt gemacht wird. Ein so respektloses verhalten habe ich in noch keinem Restaurant, keinem Imbiss, nichtmal bei einer fastfood Kette...
