Standlwirt — Restaurant in Uderns

Well hello! I have lived in Italy for 20 years, I travel all over the world and always leave reviews here and on Instagram so that people can find a nice place and I dare say this was the most inhospitable and unkind place I have ever been. If you're not Austrian, you're not human to these people. The manager was a terribly arrogant, rude and tactless man. The food was nothing special, as well as the environment, by the way (there were not so many people). Two blocks away there is a wonderful and friendly restaurant with smiling and kind people! 🙂 What does it mean to leave a low review? It means that you just don't like something and instead of the manager to think about whether there is no guilt - no, bro, he starts to shout at you most brazenly and cynically why you gave him a low grade?! 😀 Where is that?!?! Well, Mr. "manager for 30 years," stay there and don't move intellectually. In the meantime, I'll travel the world, give good reviews, I'll be happy and yes, as you said, I'll never repeat your restaurant again. But know one thing: it doesn't matter where you come from, it matters what you wear or what kind of person you are! Don't be a racist and don't put all the people of a nation under one denominator. Capisce, signore? Stay well, dude. 🙂 In conclusion: please, citizens of other countries (especially from Eastern Europe), do not go to this hotel/restaurant, if you do not want to face angry, unfriendly and racist...

This was the worst experience ever. I have traveled to more than 20 countries and went to restaurants everywhere and I’ve never experienced such thing. The “boss” came yelling at us, because we left a review that there is no English menu, he went absolutely crazy, telling us to go home, never come back, the reason to not have English menu was so that “people like us” wouldn’t ever go to this restaurant, and so on. He made such a scene, disturbed every customer trying to have a nice Friday evening. He came back to insult us, while the only nice waitress was trying to settle the bill. Apart from this, the food is nothing special, and Google lens to English was misleading, so some of the dishes were a total surprise. Ps. please go to the restaurant 5 minutes away, soooo...

Ich war hier essen und war mäßig zufrieden. Der Kaiserschmarrn war gut (kein typischer "Almkaiserschmarrn", aber trotzdem lecker); Der Salat hat auch gepasst. Bei gebackenen Pilzen, hätte ich nicht gedacht, dass sie frittiert werden, das war mir für meinen Geschmack zu fettig, den Dipp fand ich auch nicht so lecker, hat mich eher an ein Kioskessen erinnert allgemein. Deswegen wollte gerne ich noch etwas leckeres bestellen. Was ich allerdings sehr schade fand ist, dass sie mich am Ende über den Tisch gezogen haben. Ich wollte gerne den Kaiserschmarrn probieren, aber eine ganze Portion hätte ich nicht mehr geschafft, deswegen hatte ich gefragt, ob ich eine halbe haben könne (wäre natürlich auch kein Problem gewesen, wenn das nicht geht, dann hätte ich etwas anderes bestellt). Der Kellner hat dann ein wenig gescherzt, (am Ende sagte er, dass er mehrere Gabeln für uns alle bringen kann, die wir leider nicht bekommen hatten) , aber ich habe 2x wiederholt, dass ich nur eine halbe Portion möchte, deswegen bin ich natürlich davon ausgegangen, dass er eine halbe Portion bringt, vor allem wenn er das dann so auch notiert. Am Ende habe ich doch eine ganze Portion bekommen und diese wurde auch berechnet (habe die Portion natürlich nicht alleine geschafft). Ich hatte das bei der Abrechnung erwähnt, dass ich eigentlich nur eine halbe Portion wollte, aber da hat der Kellner sich herausgeredet und gesagt, dass er doch erwähnt hätte, dass er die Gabeln bringt und es deswegen eine ganze Portion wäre am Ende (den Zusammenhang habe ich nicht wirklich nachvollziehen können, ich hätte mir an dieser Stelle eine deutlichere Kommunikation gewünscht. Weiter wurde dann nicht darauf eingegangen) Ich finde es sehr schade, weil das Personal eigentlich für eine gute Atmosphäre gesorgt hatte und am Ende hat es das dadurch eigentlich wieder kaputt gemacht und bin deswegen schon eher...
