Edhof — Restaurant in Fügen

The website holds a clue that I did not spot so was surprised that this restaurant is located in the building of the horse riding club. Interior is basic Austrian woorden tables and chairs. Menu has Austrian favorites and steaks. Food quality and taste very good. Service do main course was quite fast and servings size generous, dessert toom a little longer. Not much choice for vegetarians. Came here on a Wednesday evening and had made a reservation, all tables were booked and guests without reservation got a place at the small bar. Good value for money and a schnapps with the bill. Quite a lot on the menu is deep fried and the kitchen is open so your clothes can smell a bit after your visit, hang them outside during the night to clear the smell. Plenty of free...

Two of us wanted to have dinner there and the bartender said it's full. We asked if we better wait or what time should we come back, if it takes 1 hour for example. She reacted very unpolitely, that she has no idea there is no place. After that we sat outside for a while so we might get in but other 6 people came sitting down to two unreserved table to eat dinner.. We decided to have a meal at another place, too bad we couldn't taste it but it seemed they don't...

Obwohl reserviert war und dort schon gesagt wurde das ein Hochstuhl benötigt wird (weil Kleinkind) war keiner vorbereitet, auch nicht als uns der Tisch gezeigt wurde. Kein extra Besteck fürs Kind vorhanden und wurde auch nicht danach gefragt vom Personal. Wir mussten selbst den Hochstuhl hinstellen.

Das Personal lief mehrfach vorbei aber hat nicht gefragt ob noch etwas benötigt wird ect. Bei den anderen Gästen schon (nur weil wir nicht einheimische waren)

Auch bei den anderen Gästen gab es beim Bezahlen ohne zu fragen für alle einen Schnaps bei uns wurde komischer Weise nachgefragt vom Personal ob wir einen wollen oder nicht.

Die Klamotten ect rochen nach dem Besuch nach Frittenfett wie in einer Pommes Bude. Also lieber danach duschen ect.

Essen war okay Das Schnitzel war groß und Pommes wurde in einer extra Schüssel gereicht. Das Cordon Bleu war leider nur in der Mitte gefüllt. Die Person hatte danach Magenschmerzen 😕

Es wird damit geworben das man in die Reithalle schauen kann aber ist nicht mehr der Fall da alle Fenster zugeklebt wurden mit Folie. Schade

Im Eingangsbereich schön eingerichtet auch das Restaurant aber es roch im WC Bereich sehr extrem nach klostein/ Putzmittel Parfüm

Werden nicht mehr vorbei kommen im Urlaub und auch nicht anderen Gästen empfehlen

Mit Kinderwagen nicht befahrbar da Treppen zum Restaurant hoch und für Rollstuhl Fahrer ebenfalls ungeeignet, Aufzug habe ich...
