Very good sweets and cakes the coffee quality is very high!! Unfortunately it’s not child friendly. I was there many times and twice with my baby that he has a bit loud for a minute and the stuff came immediately to my table and ask me if I could try that my baby is quiet because I bother the other people. I will have to say they could be more friendly with children. As well the shop is more old people friendly as I understood from their attitude which is very good but I find it extremely bizarre to ask for a 9 months old baby to be quiet. Recently Oberlaa pastry and coffee chain takes more and more places all over Vienna. Nevertheless the quality of everything remains high.

Delicious cakes for any taste are there to find. Besides high quality the menu variety is very high!👍🏼 You can even have a proper meal in there. And what is astonishing, service is consistent: friendly and professional. I recommend this place with no doubts to locals and to tourists.

Leider hat die Kurkonditorei abgebaut. man sitzt sehr eng, es war zwar schon immer so, aber auf der Terrasse ist es wirklich kaum auszuhalten, weil man Lehne an Lehne oft mit anderen Gästen sitzt. Die Preise schnellen von Jahr zu Jahr stärker in die Höhe, die Mehlspeisen werden lustigerweise kleiner. Ein Pariserspitz ist nicht mal mehr ein Fingerhut. Das ist irgendwie peinlich.... - da kann das Personal nichts dafür, aber das Oberlaa ist wohl sehr gierig geworden. Bis jemand zur Bedienung kommt, kann es draußen dauern. Sie stehen gerne herum und plaudern gleich zu dritt miteinander. Natürlich sind auch diese Menschen mal müde, aber zu dritt bitte nicht, vor allem wenn das Lokal gut besetzt ist.Dann muss man herumwinken, bis sich jemand bewegt. Sie sind also nicht gut organisiert was die Kundschaft im Außenbereich angeht. Personal fängt manches Mal die Kunden zu "dutzen" an, was auch nicht passend ist, wenn jemand doppelt so alt ist. Einen freundschaftlichen Ton anschlagen ist ok, aber zu einem niveauvollen Cafe, welches gerne hohe Einnahmen generieren will, durch exorbitante Preise, nobel wirken möchte, durch gute Einrichtung, gehört auch eine gut geschulte Bedienung! Die WCs waren heute unter jeder Kritik. Eines war wirklich unbenützbar, draußen bei den Waschtischen war es ebenfalls sehr schmutzig. Dass den Damen das nicht von selbst auffällt und man sie immer hinweisen muss, ist durchaus peinlich.

FAZIT: so wie andere Bekannte auch, werden wir in nächster Zeit mal wieder eine Oberlaa-Pause einlegen. Ob es etwas bringt, sei dahingestellt. Gut, dass es noch andere Lokale gibt, die auch gute Mehlspeisen führen, zu entsprechend...
