La Cocotte Italian Bistro — Restaurant in Vienna

Delicious food, with obviously high quality ingredients, prepared with elegance. This place was a happy surprise for us as we went in without any expectations and were blown away in the end. You can tell that the owners really enjoy what they do and really put their heart into it. We tried two of the paninis and desserts which were all delicious. We will definitely be coming back to try the rest...

I kinda want la Cocotte to stay a secret little gem, but these guys deserve recognition and appreciation for their creative talents and incredibly tasty cuisine. The food, the tastefully decorated location, the welcoming atmosphere make you want to come back. They also have amazing cakes! Basil strawberry simply blew my mind...

man ist in der gegend nicht verwöhnt und nähme auch den x-ten schas-italiener. und dann kommt hier so ein leiwandes bistro daher. womit hat der vogel-platz sich das verdient? so putzig klein, dass ich, um dessen überleben fürchtend, am liebsten 3 mal am tag zum essen käme.

menüs etwa sind sehr gut und fair im preis. primitivo gibts nicht nur sondern gleich 3 oder 4 zur auswahl. espresso passt, sag ma.

aber jetzt pass auf, wie in italien, weit im landesinneren: frag ich nach einem frühstück, meint man, gäbe es noch keines im angebot, man könne mir lediglich etwas prosciutto, salami, paar käse, marmelade, orangensaft usw richten. äh ja?! und ich bekomm das beste frühstück seit langem serviert. freu ich mich aber, wenn die dann ein "richtiges" im angebot haben.
