Mach ma curry — Restaurant in Vienna

Another restaurant hunt in Vienna. Woke up late after Saturday hangover, half past 12 on Sunday afternoon what else you think more important than having a lunch at good place. I had plan to go to other place but changed suddenly knowing this Indian restaurant where I can take single tram from my place. Even though the place doesn't look fancy. It has core ingredients what one Indian restaurant should have. The time I went seems to be peak hour, few delivery persons were waiting to collect orders. I was welcomed by a waitress who running always to close the delivery order. I ordered naan, Rice, butter chicken, soup and soda. It is a combo dish for a nominal price and decent quantity.

The food was great, I also ordered for extra spicy which immediately resulted to open my nostrils, I was expecting to happen. With help sweet soda, i managed to compensate the spicy. The owners of this sweet little restaurant are very dear family friends of mine ( Mayank and Mandeep). And the STAR i've given isn't due to this, it is due to the quality of food and the very affordable price for each item. Me and my family always love to give them a visit and enjoy their dishes when ever we have time. I highly recommend MACH MA CURRY for those looking for indian taste. Für mich klangen die positiven Kommentare anderer Gäste beinahe zu überschwänglich, um wahr zu sein. Aber auch mein Besuch mit Kindern und meiner Oma im Rollstuhl war sehr erfreulich. Die Bedienung war extrem herzlich und zuvorkommend. Es wurde alles Mögliche unternommen, um meiner gehbehinderten Großmutter den Aufenthalt im Schanigarten so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Ganz besonders toll fand ich, dass die Möglichkeit des günstigen Mittagsmenüs auch am Sonntag bestand. Das Essen war sehr gut, aber ich müsste lügen, wenn ich behaupten würde, dass ich bei anderen Indern in Wien nicht auch schon ähnlich gut gegessen habe. Der Unterschied ist allerdings, dass das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis bei Mach ma Curry besonders vorteilhaft ist. Wenn es überhaupt etwas zu bemängeln gibt, dann würde ich sagen, dass das Interieur des Lokals durchaus noch ein bisschen schicker gestaltet werden könnte. Man merkt dem Lokal durchaus an, dass es früher ein typisches Wiener Wirtshaus war. Aber klar, bei diesen Preisen ist die Gewinnspanne niedrig und das Geld für derartige Investitionen knapp. Außerdem ist mir das Interieur reichlich egal, wenn das Wetter schön genug ist, um im Schani-Garten auf der wenug befahrenen Straße sitzen zu können 😉 Zum Glück konzentriert sich Mach ma Curry auf das Wesentliche und das ist sehr gutes indisches Essen zu super Preisen.
