Diverse beer selection and friendly staff, easily accessible location. However unbearably smoky. The bar consists of a big room where are several tables and chairs and a small hallway (right after the entry) where the counter and a foosball table are located. The latter is dedicated to be the "non smoking area" however apart from few bar chairs seating is not available. This hallway is not separated "air-tight" from the big room what is apparently a smoking area, despite of the "non smoking" sticker on the wall. When we asked the waiters, why there are ashtrays out when the sign tells it is a non smoking area he told us that was an old sign. There was not any kind of air circulation tho. According to my knowledge this setup is not only harmful to health and environment but also restricted by law or in the gray-zone. A rather strange place with a very specific vibe. The crowd is mostly younger, student-type people, and the atmosphere feels like a mix between a college hangout and something a bit more politically charged. They do serve beer, but most of it isn’t on draft and the selection leans toward local, lesser-known varieties that didn’t really impress. Might be interesting for someone looking to try something off the beaten path, but overall not very convincing in terms of quality or consistency.

They sometimes project football games on the street, which can give it a bit of a communal feel, but the whole setup feels a bit thrown together. Inside, the decor and energy are more like a student bar than anything else, and while it clearly has its regulars and a niche following, it’s not a place I’d personally rush back to. Worth a try if you’re curious, but probably not...

Good amount of outdoor seats in summer - and you’d do well to get one there. The place is rather underground, so inside seating lacks a lot of natural light.

Service is friendly and quick, however, and their craft beer selection is nothing to sneeze at. Don’t expect too many non-beer drink options though, aside from the standard fare of long drinks mixed in inconsistent ways.
