I ordered Pizza for takeaway, which was ready in 5 minutes (granted, the restaurant was rather empty). I chose the Marina Bay (fior di latte, tomato sauce, anchovies, capers, olives, garlic, oregano, basil) - comes for €12 plus extra salami (+€2). Optics: very attractive. Composition: Dough extremely fluffy, soft. If you're looking for a crunchy experience, you've come to the wrong place. Ingredients: (very) good quality, garlic pleasantly sparing, but olives, capers and also the tomato sauce are very tasty indeed. The spicy salami (I was specifically asked if I wanted that option) is not only spicy, but hot - so is the tomato sauce. Extra kudos in my book. Nothing worse than (generally) underspiced meals! Very harmonious pizza with little fat or liquid factor, great taste. For a first attempt I would rate it 4.5/5 points in combination with price-performance, I would have to test whether the quality remains the same. There are also some vegetarian options, which didn't really appeal to me, but if the quality is similar, definitely worth a try. Only criticism at this point is cash only and limitation of the opening hours in the evening. I cannot really comment on beverage and (dine-in) service quality at this...
Read moreAs far as neapolitan pizza in Vienna is concerned this pizza is quite unique. They use corse semolina, probably to prevent the dough from sticking, which gives the dough a rustic mouth feel. As far as I know, no other neapolitan pizza has this in Vienna (~20 restaurants compared). The dough itself however is not very flavourful. Probably lack of extended fermentation and/or salt. The toppings I must say are excellent and it's definitely very refreshing to see the options go beyond the normally available combinations. Prices are very reasonable for neapolitan pizza. Is it the best neapolitan pizza in Vienna? No, but it does it's own thing and is...
