Terrible experience due to incompetent staff at the entrance! We booked and paid in advance to avoid the queue at the entrance for two tickets for Monday 12 August 2024. At the entrance, seeing two lines, we asked Mr. Cam if we had to queue even though we had the tickets booked and paid for, Mr. Cam replied saying that we had to wait (Mr. Cam saw that being Italian we didn't understand the language very well, but he replied very hastily).

After a good 10 minutes of waiting, we asked Mr Cam how long we had to wait and he replied that we had to wait in the queue for those who had not booked (a queue that went all the way to the entrance)! Perplexed we asked him why he did not tell us straight away, Mr Cam in a very rude and angry manner then made us tickets to get in. We tried to ask him several times why he did this, but while we were talking to him he pretended not to hear us and ignored us.

Personally the visit to Madame Tussauds was really sad due to Mr Cam's behavior towards us and all the people who witnessed his sad behaviour, a visit which was not up to par with Madame Tussauds in London where the staff he was super friendly and the lines were well managed for those who had booked in advance and those who hadn't. Especially Mr. Cam, seeing that they didn't really understand what he was saying, since we are foreigners, did nothing but ignore us, too bad it was a really bad and sad experience! Overall the visit lasts 30 minutes, very...

Review for Madame Tussauds Vienna Visiting Madame Tussauds Vienna was an enjoyable and immersive experience. The museum offers an impressive collection of lifelike wax figures featuring both international and Austrian personalities. I especially appreciated the detailed craftsmanship in figures like Empress Sisi and Mozart, which provide a strong cultural connection to Vienna’s history. The interactive exhibits were a highlight, allowing visitors to engage beyond just taking photos. From virtual reality experiences to themed sets, the museum creates a fun and memorable atmosphere for all ages. The staff was friendly and ensured the museum was well-maintained and organized. The only downside was that the museum can feel a bit crowded during peak hours, but it’s still easy to navigate. Overall, it’s a must-visit for anyone exploring Vienna, whether you’re a history enthusiast or just looking for an entertaining indoor activity.

I thought it would be a great idea, as my daughter was visiting and the 007 exibit was on (04,12,2018), all of us(three adults one child) we went down to the basement and looked all around, and was amazed by the detail of the exhibition, we then used the elevator (bad knee) pressed the ground floor button, then noticed a 1st floor button and pressed that one, the doors opened on the ground floor and we could see an exibit, the doors closed, thinking it would then go to the 1st floor, nothing happened, pressed ground floor again and the exterior lift door opened and didn't let us back in, no matter what button we pressed, we went back to the entrance only to find it was all shut( carpet gone shutter down) at around 17:10, and was supposed to be open till 18:00. So not only did we only see the basement, they also shut the main fire exit when there was people inside. Not happy..the phone camera didn't like the LED lamps.
