Quite a nice hotel.Lovely reception area. Whilst snall the Room was very clean and functional.Excellent shower though compact in the bathroom. Breakfast choice pretty good and ambience in breakfast room very nice and calming. Service very good.
Check in - average..more information could have been given re facilities..especially the honesty bar..it would have been nice to have been pointed out on arrival as a drink after a long journey would have been welcome. The check.OUT was really poor..the lady 'Magdelena' was so cold and unfriendly.When.she was sorting ny bill she never offered to confirm amount and I couldnt see it on terminal.When I asked her for confirmation...it was like she didn't understand me! It was very difficult to get the information...but what really struck me is that she never once smiled, asked how my stay had been and said she hoped I'd return. Zero warmth,friendliness or customer service!! What had been a pleasant stay ended on a sour note for me. I would stay again as hotel has a lot of positives but reception experience is scary and...

For starters the mattress is old and lumpy. On top of that they didn't have a double blanket so they gave us 2 single ones. The windows rattle slightly every time the train goes past which is approximately every 3 minutes. But worse than everything is the AC. Even when turned off it makes an unbearable whirring noise every 21 seconds exactly (I know because I am currently counting seconds while trying - and failing - to fall asleep).
Thank god we only booked the one night here because I'd get better sleep on a park bench.
Worst 250 Euros I ever spent.
Oh yeah and the wifi sucks.
Edit: about 1 hour later with the AC turned off and the whirring has slowed to once every 4 minutes. It is now nearly 2 a.m. and I regained hope of sleeping a couple...
Read moreAvoid at all costs! We made our reservation over 6 months ago and it was confirmed. When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk staff was lost and said our reservation was lost “because they changed systems”.
As if it was my fault, they sent me to a nearby Ibis saying the manager would be there waiting for me. The manager never spoke to me, not even an apology. The Ibis staff were all mocking us as if it was our fault KunstHof hotel is so unprofessional.
In the end, we paid the same value (way more than the ibis probably costs) to stay in a tiny Ibis room.
It was an awful experience and unless you are ok risking not having a place to stay, I’d say look for any other hotel. Check the reviews, this happens...
