Today, I had the pleasure of attending the magical show "Magic World Vienna" at the amusement park theater in Vienna, known as "Magic World." I have visited almost all the theaters in Vienna, and this was my first time there!
The performers included:
Lucca Lucian - World Champion of Mental Magic, presenting an effect that has recently become popular again, known as "The Touch." Unfortunately, we only experienced one mentalism performance by the great Lucca, who left us - the initiated - wanting to see more…
Aaron Crow - Mentalist and Danger Artist, showcasing two "dangerous" mentalism effects.
Taylor Morgan - Award Winner of the Spanish Championships 2023, with two acts: one theatrical illusion with a balloon, and another involving juggling with a hoop and a glass of whiskey. He is truly a bilingual entertainer!
Rebecca Foyle, presenting two acts… one resembling an amazing effect by Chung Ling Soo (William Ellsworth Robinson), brought to our time with a refreshing update on the 'Gymnastics Stick.' performance with a cane leading to a sweet illusion, combined with a masterful and perfectly coordinated gymnastic dance, and a beautiful close-up manipulation illusion involving the swallowing of needles and thread! Rebecca, congratulations!
David Sousa - Vice-World Champion of Manipulation, also presenting two acts of sleight of hand, showcasing superb manipulation techniques with a refreshing production of envelopes, miniaturization of cards, and a magical comedy act with magical steel rings. Personally, I loved the legendary effect Ball to Silk (now popularized once again in this last decade by Yif), Mr. D. Sousa 'Ball to Silk' presentation showcased it in a super clean, professional manner and added the appearance of the magic wand, congratulations!
Positive Aspects: *The Venue: A fitting and suitable location in the midst of one of the oldest amusement parks in the world: Praters tern.
*The opportunity to see international magicians and vice or world champions at a fair price.
*Personally, I felt a strong commitment to their illusions and magic from gymnast and magician Rebecca Foyle, Mr. Taylor Morgan (who presented 90% of the show), and Mr. David Sousa, the manipulator!
*The Theater: I think it’s quite small, suitable for cabaret acts, café concerts, small theatrical performances, etc. It has a cozy atmosphere, a café, good seating, and backstage I felt it was well-equipped for certain acts or effects like those needed in a magic show
Negative Aspects:
*The Venue: For magic acts featuring such important performers, it can be demotivating for the show staff. *There were r few magic acts per person in relation to the quality of their, or… *Maybe, there could have been included more illusions sufficiently tip of theater, instead of illusions tip cabaret, because some as they lacked that "Wow" effect..
When one spends a lot of time on stage or in less favorable conditions, it is possible to feel demotivated.
However, I want to congratulate them and not criticize in any way.
I simply hope they are given a chance in a theater, perhaps in the heart of old Vienna, where they will be valued as I appreciated them in those brief moments, and where each of their acts will be cherished just like mine!
Thank you very much for such a...

My husband and I attended the Grand Magic Festival at Magic World Vienna, and we were absolutely blown away! Sitting in the second row, center stage, we had the best seats to witness world-class magicians up close, just 2 to 5 metres away from the performers, and every act was incredible.
