I am a huge fan of this restaurant, and highly recommend it to anyone in the area. Let me tell you why:
The best kebab I have had outside the Naschmarkt. The chicken, and especially the calf meat (veal), drizzles with juices letting you know it is ripe for a kebab. The tortilla-style bread they use for the durum wraps is the best I've had. For an excellent meal under 5 euros, I recommend the kalbfleisch durum (veal). If you are willing to spend up to 10 euros, then I recommend the Iskendriya kebab with veal. It is a kebab plate with a thin layer of bread as a base, with tons of veal in a tomato sauce and delicious spices, topped with a generous helping of melted butter. The plate sizzles like a tandoori platter, and tastes like happiness.
The prices. I love a reasonably priced restaurant. A single pizza (often enough for 2 people) costs 6.5 euros. Ridiculous. This place is known primarily as a kebab shop, but serves the best pizza I've had in Vienna. Literally everything on the menu is reasonably priced, and I have no qualms paying for an entire group of people. 40-50 euros will get you more food than 5-6 people can reasonably eat in one sitting.
The vibe and interior design. This one is subjective, as some people prefer a more upscale dining experience. I am not one of those people. I like a relaxing atmosphere where I can hang out for more than an hour with friends, and casually eat, chat and chill. This place has become the go-to spot for me and my friends, and recently my dad has made it his go-to restaurant as well.
Last but not least, the people working here. If you are familiar with Turkish people, you will know that hospitality is deeply ingrained in their culture, and it shows. Austria has some of the worst customer service in the developed world (not an opinion, there are multiple rankings confirming this). The service here stands in direct opposition to this conventional wisdom, and I could not feel more cared for, valued, and welcomed.
P.S. In Turkey, every restaurant serves black tea free of charge. This is a given there, but non-existent outside that country. The excellent tradition carries on here with free black tea that is a great way to cap off a filling meal. Rich, tasty tea that I have at least 3 cups of every time I visit. It's the little things like this that make me keep coming back. I love it, and...

Read morethis döner shop? Straight heat. Walked in and the vibes already smelled like greatness. That spit was spinning like it had somewhere important to be, glistening under the lights, dripping flavor like it owed me money.
The bread? Fluffy but with that lil crunch when you bite down—like it was baked specifically for me. The meat? Bro, it wasn’t just sliced, it was carved like art. Juicy, seasoned to perfection, every bite was like a hug from the flavor gods. And the sauce? Don’t get me started. Creamy, tangy, a lil spicy kick at the end—like it knew exactly how to treat me.
Even the lettuce and onions were doing their thing—fresh, crispy, like they clocked in early just to make my sandwich shine. Every bite felt like the chef whispered “you deserve this” in my ear.
I left that shop feeling like I had just been blessed, like I needed to shake the cook’s hand and thank his ancestors for the recipe. If döner shops had a Hall of Fame, this joint’s...
