The Roast — Restaurant in Vienna

This restaurant is really nice place, but I was quite disappointed. You come here, but nobody is on the bar, so we took the seat with hopes that somebody is going to come. In 40 % full restaurant we waited for waiter about 5 - 10 minutes. So we ordered drink and food and I went for toilet located in Hive and I let my GF to wait and enjoy the drink. After I came back (5 minutes) she was still waiting for one beer and Coke. So we waited maybe 4 more minutes. After some time food arived, GF burger was quite nice and tasty, but mine was not so good. Meat was quite dry and burger was sad and it was called "Godtfather" so my expectations were quite hight. But this burger is super boring - meat, onion, cucumber, salat and sauce. At the end of the dinner waiter was also asking for the tip (maybe for superspeed skills?) and at this point mine mood was set to 0. I also noticed, that personal did not cleaned the next table after rhe visitors that left the place like 20 minutes ago. Prices are quite nice but I need to recommend you go to the Vienna and explore much better and higher standards to enjoy your visit with nice...

Das Personal ist freundlich, bis auf die junge Filialleiterin/Geschäftsführerin. Als Inhaber würde ich hier meine Personalauswahl intensivst überdenken. Pampig und unfreundlich, wenn sie mal bedienen muss, gelächelt hat sie zuletzt wohl in den 90ern. Ein Höhepunkt: bei meinem letzten Besuch an einem Freitag Vormittag war das Lokal voll, als eine Getränkelieferung ankam. Anstatt diese über dem Wintergarten zuzustellen, wurde die Seitentür nach außen aufgerissen und für 30 Minuten offen gelassen. Draußen hatte es 1°C, im Lokal nach 5 Minuten auch unter 10°C und es zog durch, wie in einem Vogelhaus. Die Gäste zogen teilweise Jacken und Hauben an. Auf meine höfliche Bitte, „sie mögen bitte die Tür schließen, zumindest während sie mit den Kisten minutenlang im Lager verschwinden“ wurde ich angeschnauzt und die Filialleiterin zündete sich als erstes eine Zigarette mit den Zustellern gemeinsam draußen an, bevor sie begann, bei immer noch offener Tür minutenlang den Papierkram zu erledigen. Zum Glück zog sie sich eine Jacke an, um sich nicht zu verkühlen. Auch nach einer weiteren Bitte blieb die Tür während der gesamten Zustellung offen und die Filialleiterin zeigte sich bis zum Verlassen des Lokals nicht mehr - ich schloss die Tür zwischendurch hinter den Zustellern immer wieder selbst. Obwohl das Lokal nett eingerichtet und das Essen gut und das Personal meist freundlich ist, sind die mehrfachen negativen Erfahrungen mit der Filialleitung ein Grund keine weiteren Besuche...

The same comments as some of the other visitors already made. The food is good but the service is really bad (and this is the last few months). I understand that they want to have one table 4 time used for the lunch break, but this is not the way. Extremely unkind lady was asking us (not once) to change or to sit at different places. She has to understand that with this behavior soon she will not have this issue (too many customers). A shame for the otherwise nice...
