China Restaurant Krone — Restaurant in Villach

Food is actually really good there. But I will not go back there. We were a party of three. Two adults and one child 16 years old. We ordered 4 glasses of wine, 2 appetizers, 3 entrees and 2 desserts. My daughter ordered a glass of water and after the entry another glass of water. And while I understand that some places in Austria charge you for water this place charged us two times two euros and 50 cents.€5 for two waters on a 70 euro bill I think is a little outrageous. I had their "Running Sushi" buffet. Unfortunately I sat on the right hand side of the conveyor belt which meant that I got last choice of any dishes put on it, and any hot dishes were barely warm. Even so, the only sushi I saw was salmon on rice and a few salmon and rice maki rolls. Everything else was essentially Chinese food. Ich kenne dieses Restaurant und war als Kind schon oft hier und auch wenn ich dieses Alte Gebäude mag und generell diese Stil Richtung muss ich schon sagen dass das Restaurant nicht wirklich einladend aussieht weder von außen noch von innen. Alleine die WCs hatten seit dem Bau des Hauses keine Veränderungen. Im herren los ist ein Vogelnest auf einem Fenster im Innenbereich. Von außen wirkt das Restaurant teils geschlossen und ist zugemüllt. Man sollte seine Privatsachen nicht da hinstellen wo die Gäste das sehen können.

Kommen wir zum Buffet. Zu meinem Zeitpunkt war das Buffet relativ gut gefüllt, was sich nach kurzer Zeit aber änderte. Speißen kamen alle 10 Minuten nach, aber nur jeweils ein Gericht. Das Essen war nur lauwarm, qualitativ aber gut.

Der Service ist mit Sicherheit nicht gelernt. Es waren die beiden Töchter der Familie da. Sie waren alle samt sehr freundlich und bemühen sich auch alles gut zu machen allerdings zeigen sie nicht wirklich Präsens. Eine Einheitliche...
