I was searching for a place to have coffee in the morning, and Röstbar showed up on my map, so I went to visit. The place looks gorgeous!
From the moment I entered, the brick wall with a mounted menu board took my attention. The whole coffee shop has these earthy tones, and the atmosphere, thanks to that, feels very cozy. It seems it's also popular because, while there was plenty of space to sit or stand, most were taken.

Read moreUnfortunately we were misinformed by their instagram page, and the after work thing on Thursdays is not a thing anymore, and we arrived right as they were closing. However, they offered us to take as many of their croissants as we wanted for free, because they have to get rid of them anyways. That's a great way to prevent food waste and this alone deserves a 5 star rating from me, I will definitely come back when they're actually open to try their coffees as well! Read moreThat’s what I call specialty coffee experience! Their flat white is among the best I tasted in Austria, if not the best. Pistachio croissant is simply perfect. Atmosphere and decoration of the place is aesthetically pleasing. They managed turn coffee into a real experience. On top of that, prices are great. Flat white + pistachio croissant: 5,70 EUR! If I lived in Villach, I would be a regular of the Röstbar. I hope they will consider a branch in Vienna some time...
