Star Hotel and Kabab | Elephant Road — Restaurant in Dhaka Metropolitan

Star Kabab has been a part of my childhood growing up and I have so many memories of eating great food in many of it's outlets. This particular one is one of the newest and one of the best also. I first came to this star when I was in college 4 years ago and had a nice breakfast with naan roti, daal and egg mumlet. Recently I had the same breakfast and it was just like the first time. In recent times I have come to this star with my friends on many occasions and it is a great place to hang out and also celebrate birthdays and other special occasions with your loved ones. The quality of the food is spectacular and you will come here for more if you try once. They serve no beef with their kacchi so they care about all religion and faiths. Their kacchi is the best at that price and the kababs, the rejalas, leg roast all are of superior quality and taste. They have recently launched their basmati kacchi which is also magnificent. The tender mutton pieces, the aromatic beautiful rice, the soft potato in between the rice like a sweet in a jarda. It is a really nice dish and you might want to try it yourself. The Kabab is always great and I have tried it many times and I will again. Once my friends and I had just eaten pizza and we were not full so we went to the dhanmondi star just to fill ourselves with quality food at a reasonable price and it paid off nicely. I first visited Star Hotel and Kabab during my college days back in 2018 or 2019, and recently revisited in April 2024 for a family function. The experience both times was quite different yet enjoyable.

During my college days, we had a satisfying lunch with friends, enjoying their kacchi biyani and soft drinks. It was a decent meal, nothing extraordinary but good enough for a casual outing.

This time around, for the family function, we indulged in a variety of dishes on the fourth floor, catering to over 30 people. The spread included polao, chicken roast, khasi, rui mach, dal, and khasi tikka. The desserts, doi, were a sweet ending to the meal. However, I noticed that the pieces of khasi were disappointingly hard, and the roast was average at best. Yet, the standout was the rui mach, which was prepared to perfection, earning top marks.

The restaurant offers ample space, with options to dine on the third or second floor, though the latter tends to be quite busy. Overall, Star Hotel and Kabab provides a decent dining experience, especially for those craving traditional...

This is very popular restaurant in Dhaka City. It is located in Dhanmondi beside Dhaka City College. This restaurant is very large. It has around 5 floors for restaurant.

If you are around Dhanmondi and want to try Food then Star kabab will be must try. Their biriyani, Khichuri is too good. Their leg roast is too good.. This is my most favourite in Star kabab. This is very tasty. If you love to eat Leg Roast then it is must try for you.. hope you will love this also.

Their washroom is good but here it has huge opportunities to get improved. They should do this.
