I went to the Star Kebab Elephant Road branch today, so I’ll be reviewing their food. I ordered their full chicken grill, 4 normal naan, 2 mojos, and one faluda.

When the food was served, they gave 3 leg pieces and 1 breast piece, whereas it should have been 2 legs and 2 breast pieces. When I called the waiter and complained, he said that since there were a lot of orders, they had a shortage of breast pieces, so they gave 3 leg pieces instead. He added, “If you want, we can change it.” What kind of logic is that! I ordered a full chicken which must include 2 legs and 2 breast pieces. Saying “If you want, we can change it” doesn’t make sense. Only after I insisted in a slightly rude tone did the waiter replace one leg piece with a breast piece. This clearly shows they try to cheat customers — if no one complains, they just serve whatever they want.

As for the food taste, it was average — nothing extraordinary, but not too bad either. Now, about the faluda — the taste was pretty good, but they didn’t use any ice cream in it. The price was 120 BDT, but considering the price, the ingredients used were not worth it.

Service was extremely poor. You have to keep calling the waiters for every little thing, and they seem annoyed when you do. The air-conditioning system was in terrible condition — they were just using fans to manage the situation.

Honestly, Star Kebab is only surviving because of its brand name. Our total bill...

👨‍🍳 Service: Service was fast and efficient. The staff are polite and experienced, though during peak times they can be a bit rushed. Still, I got my order within 10 minutes, which is impressive for a busy restaurant.

💸 Price: Very affordable — you can have a filling meal for around ৳300–400 per person. The food quality for that price is definitely worth it.
